LG to launch mobile payment service next month
LG reportedly confirmed to The Korea Times that its mobile payment service will be launching in South Korea next month.
The V10 with a fingerprint sensor could be the first LG smartphone to support the mobile payment service.
Another mobile payment service is coming as soon as next month.
According to The Korea Times, LG has confirmed that it will be launching its mobile payment service as soon as December. It is currently negotiating deals with major credit card companies in South Korea before launching the mobile payment service. There is no information on the official name, date of launch or how the mobile payment service will work.
Samsung is reportedly racing to launch its mobile payment service in China next year. It is currently only available in South Korea and the U.S. Apple, on the other hand, has its Apple Pay service rolled out in the U.S, Canada, Australia and will be available in Singapore next year.
