IT Show 2020 will be postponed because of the novel coronavirus (Updated)
In light of recent developments surrounding the novel coronavirus, the IT Show 2020 will be postponed.
Sphere Exhibits, the organisers of IT Show 2020, has just announced that it will be postponing the show to a later date.
This news comes in light of recent developments of the novel coronavirus.
In a statement, Sphere Exhibits said:
We seek your understanding as this decision has been made with the safety and health concerns of the exhibitors, our partners and the public in mind.
We will provide an update on the new event dates when they are available.
IT Show 2020 was originally slated to run from 12 March to 15 March 2020.
Additionally, Sphere Exhibits is also postponing their Food & Beverage Fair 2020 and BuildTech Asia/CARGONOW 2020 shows that were also slated to take place in March.
At the time of writing, the novel coronavirus, which originated from Wuhan, has infected over 43,000 and has claimed the lives of over 1,000 people.
