The Ariston AURES Luxury
Ariston water heaters just got an upgrade. The latest Ariston Electric Instant Water Heaters (EIWHs) now come with a constant temperature feature, which ensures a consistent temperature for a good shower – and most of us like a good shower.
Selected EIWH models are equipped with a flow sensor, a series of negative coefficient sensors, and a triode for alternating current. The combination of the sensors allows the water heater to measure temperature and water flow entering the appliance, while the triode adjusts the heating power on-the-fly. This new setup is responsible for the new constant-temperature feature that is found in Ariston’s AURES EIWH series.
The AURES models have extra safety features, such as the anti-scalding system 2.0, which uses sensors to constantly check the water inlet temperature. If the water temperature happens to be above the water heather’s preset temperature, the water heater will not heat anymore water that flows within.
Ariston AURES Smart
The EIWH with the new constant temperature function are currently available. The AURES Smart uses a push-knob control, and it retails at S$199. AURES Luxury uses a digital display and a soft touch control panel, and it retails at S$299. You can find out more about their water heaters and other thermal-related products here.
Since we’re in the middle of a Star Wars fanfare, you could consider pairing the new heater with this officially-licensed Darth Vader shower-head. Is it odd? Sure. Must we have it? Well, it’s official merchandise after all…
