Epson Launches Radically Innovative Android-based See-through Mobile Viewer, Moverio BT-100

Running on the Android 2.2 Froyo platform, the Moverio BT-100 is made of a headset utilizing micro-projection technology and an Android-powered media player and controller. Equipped with built-in wireless connectivity, it lets users view streaming videos, experience 3D content and enjoy downloaded digital content on a large virtual 320-inch perceived screen projected from 20m away.

Running on the Android 2.2 Froyo platform, the Moverio BT-100 is made of a headset utilizing micro-projection technology and an Android-powered media player and controller. Equipped with built-in wireless connectivity, it lets users view streaming videos, experience 3D content (in side-by-side format) and enjoy downloaded digital content on a large virtual 320-inch perceived screen projected from 20m away. Offering nearly six hours of rechargeable battery life, its built-in card slot supports up to 32GB microSDHC cards, and includes 1GB of internal storage.

The Epson Moverio BT-100 will be available in Singapore starting 23 July 2012 exclusively at selected Best Denki outlets at S$999. Customers can pre-order the Moverio BT-100 at the following Best Denki outlets from 9 to 22 July 2012 and get a free 16GB microSD card (worth S$18) and a pair of CX215 Sennheiser earphones (worth S$68.90).
