DJI might be launching a smaller, lighter and faster Mavic drone on 23 Jan
Drone enthusiasts should mark down this date on the calendar for DJI’s event.

DJI has sent out media invites for an event on 23 January where it is expected to unveil a new drone.
The company also released a teaser video which has some close ups of the chassis of the new drone. DroneDJ believes DJI is going to launch a smaller, lighter and faster drone which is rumored to be called the Mavic Air.
The Mavic Air is said to be priced in between the S$1,499 DJI Mavic Pro (without Fly More combo) and the S$599 DJI Spark (without Fly More combo). There is also speculation of a "toy" model which is smaller than the DJI Spark and can do flips.
