The future has arrived for Cooler Master. The company, better known for PC components like chassis, power supplies, and coolers, has announced a slew of systems and gaming chairs designed for more thorough immersion in the virtual world.
One of the highlights is the Orb X, a multi-purpose battle station for work, entertainment, and gaming. Featuring a semi-enclosed space for a premium user experience and an upgraded visual and audio experience, it is also outfitted with an automated motorised shuttle dome and support for three 27-inch monitors.
At the same time, there are built-in surround sound speakers and an ergonomic leather recliner for customised comfort. You get an adjustable headrest, lumbar support, and leg rest for a more personalised experience, helping you stay productive for longer.
An integrated desk includes features like wireless phone charging, and you can also connect your laptop to a monitor while still having plenty of room for a keyboard, mouse, and tablet. A micro-woven cloth mousepad provides full desktop coverage, ensuring an optimal mouse surface.
Then there's the Synk X haptic chair, a cross-platform immersive haptic chair that amplifies your gaming experience with more lifelike entertainment. It converts sound waves into vibrations and provides real-time tactile experiences, delivering a semblance of virtual reality.

The new Motion 1 gaming chair is also infused with haptic technology. It is being billed as the world's first haptic engine gaming chair developed together with D-Box, engineered to provide haptic feedback to your games and entertainment.
It is capable of producing over 65,000 motion waves to create a sense of presence based on what you see and hear onscreen. It also supports haptic feedback for all games, not just those natively encoded by D-Box.
It is available for pre-order at CES 2023 with US$2,299.
