AR.Drone's AR.Freeflight App Hits Android

Ar.Drone fan but not sporting an iOS device? Well now Parrot has released an Android piloting app for those who don't own an iPhone but Android device.

Sure the AR.Drone costs an arm (or maybe a leg too), but we're sure some of you couldn't resist such a cool gadget.  But then only iOS users had access to the AR.Drone as its augmented reality piloting app was only found in the iTunes App Store.

Well now Android users can jump on the bandwagon as Parrot releases an Android piloting app for the AR.Drone. Good news is the piloting app is free and is supported by any Android 2.2 device. Bad news is, the AR.Drone Quadricopter still costs an arm.

Check out the app here.
