Is Apple opening another retail store in the eastern side of Singapore?

Apple Singapore has posted job positions for retail in the east of the island.
It has been more than a year since Apple opened its first retail store in Singapore and the iPhone maker seems to be gearing up for a second store in the near future.
Spotted by eagle-eyed HWZ forum member arkguy, Apple Singapore has posted several retail positions on its job portal with specific mention of an eastern location on the island. The 12 retail job positions include SG-Apple Store Leader Program, SG-Genius and SG-Store Leader.
HWZ forum members speculate that Apple might open its second retail store in Jewel Changi Airport which is slated to open in 2019. Could there be a better option than the Jewel in the eastern side of Singapore?
It’s not far-fetched to consider Apple having plans to open a second retail store in Singapore since it has 6 retail stores in Hong Kong.
