Anker has raised the prices of its products on Amazon due to US tariffs.

According to Reuters, prices have increased for a fifth of Anker's products on Amazon. The price hike is about 18% and, more worryingly, further increases cannot be ruled out.

For example, the recently announced Anker 25,000mAh power bank is now priced at US$110, up from US$88 on Amazon's US website. Fortunately, there's no price increase on Amazon Singapore (yet). Prices on Lazada and Shopee are also holding steady.

The effects of the US tariffs are starting to ripple across the consumer tech industry. Nintendo delayed the pre-order dates of the Switch 2 gaming console for customers in the US and Canada.

US customers also rushed to buy iPhones, fearing that prices might rise. Analysts estimate that US tariffs could drive iPhone prices up by 30% to 43%. As for Singapore, consumers here should brace for the worst and be prepared to pay more for Apple products in the coming months if things don't ease up.
