8.3mm Thin ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime Revealed (Updated)
ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih pulled out the new ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime at the AsiaD conference. It is confirmed running on a quad-core processor and measures just 8.3 mm thin.

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime (formerly known as the Transformer 2) was revealed by ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih at AsiaD Conference.
According to Android Community, Shih confirmed that the Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be running on NVIDIA's quad-core processor and has a 10.1-inch display.
Other specifications include USB and mini-HDMI ports, SD card slot and a sleek profile of 8.3 mm. He added on that the device will be formally announced on November 9th.
Shih hinted that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer will most probably get the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update and the possibility of more Ice Cream Sandwich devices arriving before the end of the year.
He also discussed about the availability of the ASUS Padfone, which will arrive early next year after carrier testing.
