Reolink’s TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi has two 3000-Lumens LEDs and a dual-lens camera
The brightness and temperature of those LEDs are adjustable based on how intimidating or inviting you want your home to be. There’s a slate of AI features, too.

Reolink has announced a new product in its floodlight cam series, the TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi, designed for outdoor home security.
As you might’ve guessed, the defining features (in terms of its physical appearance) are the two floodlights fixed above the camera, capable of up to 3000 Lumens of illumination. It’s definitely brighter than the average indoor light bulb, and it may even be a bit overkill for certain types of homes, like HDB flats, where outdoor illumination isn’t much of a concern.
However, Reolink says that the LEDs are dimmable, and also have adjustable colour temperatures – 3000K for when you want the lights to be warmer and more inviting, and 6000K for a cooler tone with more contrast in the night. The lights can be adjusted manually via the Reolink app, or automatically, based on ambient light.
In any case, the LEDs are meant to provide light for the dual-lens camera housed inside the TrackFlex. One of these lenses is a 4K wide angle lens for wider surveillance coverage, while the second is a FHD 6x hybrid zoom. Footage from both cameras can be viewed simultaneously through Reolink’s app.
The TrackFlex’s floodlights, capable of 3000 Lumens, can light a range of up to 40 feet (12m), according to Reolink.
Also on the TrackFlex are three passive infrared sensors that can perform what Reolink calls 270 degree Out-of-View Detection. Essentially, should the infrared sensors detect movement outside of its current view, it can automatically rotate to cover that blind spot, allowing for an all-round view.
For intruder deterrence, the TrackFlex is equipped with a 110dB siren, that can be used in tandem with a customisable 5-second voice message.
As with most products on the market nowadays, there’s a sprinkling of AI features on the TrackFlex, including the ability to track moving subjects. The TrackFlex is also able to differentiate between human, vehicle and animal movement.
Reolink says that this comes in handy when searching for certain moments. Rather than trudge through hours of footage, users can search up specific details on the app, such as the colour or type of a person’s clothing, and they’ll find the relevant clips. All AI processing is done on-device and no subscription is needed. It also takes a microSD card for local storage.
Finally, the TrackFlex supports a Wi-Fi 6 connection with Google Assistant smart home integration, and being an outdoor camera, is IP66 water resistant.
Pricing and Availability
