Interesting sightings at IT Show 2017
By now, you should have read our IT Show 2017 coverage and watched our video. Here are a few additional items that aren't - you know - your usual phones and notebooks.
Brother previously rolled out a Hello Kitty electronic labeler, and now they’re back with a Rilakkuma version. It comes with a 52-character LCD display, and has 97 frames with 22 Rilakkuma frames, and 651 symbols with 34 Rilakkuma symbols. At S$68 (U.P. S$78), with a free S$10 NTUC voucher and ‘sure win’ lucky dip. Still kawaii.
Well, this is pretty neat. This official Marvel 1:1 scale Iron Man MK 43 bust from Camino is also a Bluetooth speaker. Its retail price is a cool S$4,399.90, and the IT Show price is also a cool S$3,999.90. A sign by the side says “in stock soon,” so you might not be able to get it onsite — although at 21.5kg, you may not want to carry it throughout Suntec.
If you don’t have S$4k to drop on an Iron Man bust, you can look at getting just the MK 46 1:1 helmet, which is also a Bluetooth speaker. Retail price is S$629.90, IT Show price is S$499.90, and the sign says it’s in stock. Only 1.48kg, so you can carry this yourself.
If Star Wars is more your thing, check out this 1:1 scale Darth Vader helmet/Bluetooth speaker. Retail price is S$629.90, IT Show price is S$499.90 — heavier than the Iron Man helmet though, at 3.19kg, so be prepared to heave some weight home.
