30 years ago, Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown picked up Marty McFly and his girlfriend, Jennifer Parker, in his flying DeLorean time machine. The good doctor punched in the dates for October 21st, 2015 — which is today — and they disappeared in a flash, flying into the future.
Who cares if the whole story isn’t true? The movie ‘Back to the Future’ stole hearts everywhere, and ignited every geek’s desire to have a flying DeLorean time machine of their own. It remains one of the smash classics of the 1980s, right up there with ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Terminator.’
Sure, we still don’t have flying cars, self-lacing shoes and Mr. Fusion. But we do have 3D movies (sort of), hoverboards (kind of), and video calling (for sure).
