The F400 Handset

The F400 Handset

We got our Mobile World Congress coverage rolling when we showed you the Samsung Soul yesterday. In this update, we unveil more Samsung handsets that were announced and showcased here at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The spotlight was on Samsung with new handset offerings being the talk of the town.

For all you audiophiles out there, the F400 will rock your boat as it enhances music with ICEpower by B&O and can be heard through speakers integrated under the slider. What's more, with a specially designed navigation key, your music is only but a tap away.

Here's a close-up of the dual-slider handset. The jog dial is a breath of fresh air from the usual navigation keys.

Slide the handset up and the keypad is made available, but slide it down and you reveal the external speaker. Similar in concept with the currently available SGH-i450, the new F400 continues its multimedia heritage as a dual slider handset. Don't expect the 'boom box' power of the K5 MP3 player series though.

Here are some of the key specifications of the F400:

  • Camera: 3 Mega pixels
  • Display: 2.2-inch
  • Features: Dual slider with external speaker, HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio with RDS and more
  • Size: 103 x 48 x 16.9mm
