Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones have started accepting pre-orders from all official channels, including our favourite telcos that bundle the phone with a two-year contract plan.

Ordering at telcos
Our local telcos commence pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series from 2 February 2023 onwards. Their URLs with respective pre-order information are here:
- M1 (10AM start): http://m1.com.sg/galaxys
- Singtel (2AM start): http://singtel.com/galaxys
- StarHub (7AM start): http://starhub.com/samsung
Customers who pre-order through Singtel are entitled to a complimentary storage upgrade (worth up to S$360), while stocks last. This offer ends on 16 February 2023, and is not applicable to Galaxy S23 (256GB), Galaxy S$23+ (512GB), and Galaxy S23 Ultra (1TB) -- because those are the largest available variants of each tier.
Customers who pre-order through M1 and StarHub are entitled to the following bonuses upon successful payment of their pre-orders:
- Galaxy S23 = S$100 worth of Samsung e-voucher
- Galaxy S23+ = S$150 worth of Samsung e-voucher
- Galaxy S23 Ultra = S$250 worth of Samsung e-voucher for 256GB and 512GB version, S$350 e-voucher for 1TB
Telco pre-order customers can collect their devices from 10 February 2023 onwards. Singtel and M1 customers can opt for in-store collection, delivery, or POPStation collection. StarHub customers will receive their devices by delivery only.
M1’s contract plans for Samsung Galaxy S23 series
M1’s pre-order period ends on 16 February. Its Bespoke Contract is the two-year contract plan alternative, where you get a phone line with part of the phone’s cost spread out over two years. Bespoke Flexi is also available through M1 (offering a no-contract line and up to 36 months' payment for the phone instead). For parity’s sake, we’ll look at Bespoke Contract plans only. It comes with M1's True 5G network.
Besides the abovementioned perks, M1 is also offering the following additional benefits:
- S$80 off any Samsung Galaxy S23 series handset for existing M1 customers who re-contract S$79.95/month plans.
- S$150 off any Samsung Galaxy S23 series handset for existing M1 customers who re-contract Bespoke Contract S$99.95/month plans or above.
- S$200 off any Samsung Galaxy S23 series handset for any sign-up on Bespoke Flexi plans
- One redemption per eligible re-contract line. Terms and conditions apply (check here for early re-contract eligibility, etc.)

Singtel's contract plans for the Galaxy S23 series
Singtel has the exclusive "storage upgrade" bonus, making it the only telco to offer it via contract plans (you can also get the perk contract-free, via Samsung's promotion). All Singtel XO Plus contract plans for the Galaxy S23 series handsets offer 5G connectivity.
Since we're looking at two-year contract plans bundled with the phone, we're only looking at Singtel's XO Plus Plans.
The table below does not reflect Samsung or telco-specific promotions. For example, the upfront costs below reflect no storage upgrade pre-order bonus, assuming the promotion is out of stock or lapsed. If the promotion is still available, the Singtel customer pays the same upfront cost as the GB variant before it (e.g. 1TB Ultra upfront cost would match 512GB Ultra's, etc.).

StarHub's contract plans for the Galaxy S23 series
StarHub has the Galaxy S23 series handsets available through its two-year contract plan, Mobile+. The telco offers other payment formats like EasyGo and two-year 4G plans, but we're only looking at the green camp's 5G bundled plan and phone offering here.
StarHub's other perks (on top of its abovementioned bonuses) also include additional phone trade-in value of up to SS$200 (up to a possible maximum of S$1,050), if you opt for StarHub's proprietary Trade-In programme within the pre-order window. The cool part about this trade-in? StarHub puts the trade-in value as cash into your assigned bank account within two business days.
Also:
- Galaxy S23 and S23+ plans come with an extra S$30 Takashimaya voucher
- Galaxy S23 Ultra plans come with a S$50 Takashimaya voucher
Interestingly, StarHub doesn't carry the 128GB variant of Galaxy S23 in its Mobile+ contract plans.
