There were plenty of Razer products announced during the company's RazerCon livestream. From laptop coolers to software updates, there's quite a lot to take in but here's a quick summary of everything announced and what you might have missed.
If you’re planning on rewatching the stream on your own, you can watch it on their Social media platforms on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube.
Razer Freyja

What happens if you combine a cushion and a massage chair together? The Razer Freyja seems like the offspring of such a union. Originally a concept known as Project Esther, Freyja is powered by Razer’s Sensa HD Haptics technology and is equipped with six advanced haptic motor actuators within the cushion. Razer says games like Hogwarts Legacy, Stalker 2, and FFXVI already have built-in support. More games will be added over time.
How does it work exactly, you ask? Casting the Avada Kedavral spell in Hogwarts Legacy, for instance, players can feel vibrations rippling down from their waist to their chest and legs. Freyja essentially allows you to feel multi-directional haptic feedback as well as have seven different intensities of vibration. Freyja can also be used for movie-watching and music listening to enhance those experiences with haptic feedback.
Though the company's showcase only revealed the Freyja used with Razer gaming chairs, we were also told that it will be compatible on most chairs that have a high backrest.
Priced at S$459, the Razer Freyja will be available for purchase via Razer's e-store, authorised resellers, and Razer's official storefronts on Shopee and Lazada.

Razer’s Kraken lineup has always been big on RGB and the latest Razer Kraken V4 Pro is no exception. Similar to the Razer Freyja, the Kraken V4 Pro has Sensa HD Haptics technology that enables players to feel in-game actions such as bullet impacts and environmental effects.
Compared to the Kraken V4 and V4X, the standout feature of the V4 Pro is its OLED Control Hub. This hub is able to display PC metrics, change audio EQ presets, and of course, change Razer Chroma effects.
Other features of the Kraken V4 Pro include
- Four modes of connectivity including Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth, USB, and 3.5 mm
- Razer HyperClear Super wideband microphone for clear voice communication
- Razer TriForce Bio-Cellulose 40 mm Drivers and THX Spatial Audio
- 9-Zone earcup lighting with customisable visuals
Retailing for S$599, the Razer Kraken V4 Pro will be available for purchase via their Razer's website, authorised resellers, and their official storefronts on Shopee and Lazada.
Razer’s Laptop Cooling Pad

Probably the most unexpected product announced is the Laptop Cooling Pad, which Razer says can accommodate laptops ranging from 14” to 18” in size.
At the heart of the cooling pad is a 140mm fan that blows out cool air to the laptop's bottom. According to Razer, this can potentially reduce CPU and GPU temperatures by up to 18%, depending on the laptop models. Through Razer Synapse, you can can also adjust various fan presets or create your own personalised fan curves for cooling efficiency.
Out of the box, there will be three magnetic frames featuring memory foam to ensure a good fit for a wide range of Windows or Apple laptops. The cooling pad also comes with Chroma RGB lighting on the front of the stand, which is controllable via a remappable multi-function button that also manages the fan speed. Finally, at the back of the cooling pad are three additional USB ports for you to connect your peripherals.
At US$149.99 (~S$166.67), the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad isn’t cheap, but there's arguably no other cooler (pun intended) looking laptop cooling pad than Razer's. Razer has not disclosed a release date but says it will be out sometime in Q4 2024.
Razer Blade 18 now supports Intel Thunderbolt Share

If you’re an owner of the latest Razer Blade 18 lineup, Razer has announced that Intel’s Thunderbolt Share will now be available as an update.
Thunderbolt Share allows Blade 18 owners to connect two PCs and share peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and monitors. It will also allows users to transfer files between the devices with transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps.
Razer’s 20th anniversary
Finally, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, Razer has announced that its iconic ball-mouse, the Razer Boomslang, will be making a return in an ultra-limited run. Though details are scant right now, Razer says that it will feature modern state-of-the-art updates to enhance its performance. More information to come.
