Lenovo announced its latest flagship convertible – the Yoga 920 – at IFA 2017 in Berlin. It's thin (13.95mm), light (1.37kg), and comes powered by a quad-core 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, a near bezel-less 13.9-inch IPS touchscreen display, JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, 720p HD camera, and more.
The ultra-thin Yoga 920 convertible is offered in three colors: Bronze, Copper (pictured here), and Platinum. On the left are two Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports and a 3.5mm audio jack.
As expected, the Yoga 920 can be transformed into one of four modes – laptop, stand, tablet, and tent (pictured here) – thanks to the 360-degree watchband hinge. It also addressed the Yoga 910's awkward camera position by placing its 720p HD camera on top of the display, which you can configure with either a Full HD and Ultra HD IPS touchscreen panel. Lenovo also shaved the vertical bezels down to 5mm, resulting in a near bezel-less viewing experience.
Polished CNC aluminum figures prominently in the construction of the Yoga 920, which not only adds resilience against wear and tear, but also exudes elegance. Underneath the right directional key is the fingerprint reader that allows for fast and secure login via Windows Hello. Next to the Yoga 920 is the Lenovo Active Pen 2, an optional digital pen with pin-point accuracy, palm-rejection technology, and 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The new Active Pen 2 (top) has been redesigned with a longer overall length. The pen clip has also been removed and the two side buttons repositioned closer to the pen tip. The top button can be assigned to open up your favorite sketch app. The Active Pen 2 also has twice the level of pressure sensitivity (4,096 vs. 2,048) as its predecessor for a more paper-like writing and drawing experience.
Cortana on Windows 10 is nothing new, but these far-field microphones will let you give instructions and ask questions up to four meters away from the Yoga 920. Even better, it will also work in standby mode.
On the right is the power button and an always-on USB 3.0 port that lets you recharge your phone (or power bank) even when the Yoga 920 is off altogether.
The Yoga 920 Vibes is a limited edition product, where the lid is the creation of Louis Aymonod, one of 16 finalists who were shortlisted from a pool of 130 students at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Italy.
The winning design, titled 'Vibes of Elegance', is screened onto Gorilla Glass for its durable properties and glossy finish.
There were three other finalists to the Yoga 920 Vibes' design collaboration. On the left is Anna Kononova's design entry, titled 'Focus'.
As if the Yoga 920 Vibes wasn't enough, Lenovo also introduced two Star Wars Special Edition Yoga 920 variants. On the left is the Galactic Empire variant, while the right is the Rebel Alliance variant. Both cover designs will receive the same Gorilla Glass-screened treatment given to the Yoga 920 Vibes.

There's even a corresponding wallpaper design to match the cover.
