Dell's Exclusive Store at Plaza Singapura is a homage to the PC. At the store's unveiling, Dell launched a new suite of commercial and gaming devices featuring the latest hardware. Dell executives Ray Wah and Jarebb Chua pose here with the new Inspiron devices, including the Inspiron 15 7000, Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming, and Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1.
The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 is a compact convertible notebook with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel IPS touchscreen display, 8GB of DDR4-2400 memory, and a 256GB SSD. But despite its compact dimensions, it still features an SD card reader, a full-sized HDMI 2.0 output, and a USB-C connector. It costs S$1,599 for the 8th-generation Core i5 model and S$1,899 for the Core i7.
The new Inspiron 15 7000 also comes equipped with up to a quad-core Core i7-8550U. Other specifications include 8GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, up to a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD, and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics. When it comes to affordable gaming systems, Dell has the Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming, which now boasts an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. This is a Max-Q notebook, which means it's also been optimized for better thermal and noise performance. It features an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4-2400 memory, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. You can get it now for S$2,199.
Dell was able to showcase the Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming running the Outlast the Storm leg of Forza Motorsport 7 quite smoothly. Shown here is the Alienware 25 gaming monitor, which features a 240Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-Sync.
The store has a neat Alienware gaming corner of sorts, where you can check out the latest gaming peripherals and high-performance machines. You can also opt for in-store customizations to quickly configure the system according to your preferences.
The Alienware 17 is a beastly laptop that can be equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 32GB of DDR4-2400 memory, and an overclockable Intel Core i7-7820HK processor. The top-end configuration also comes with a generous 512GB PCIe SSD and 1TB HDD. Maxing out all the specifications will cost you an eye-watering S$4,999.
