Welcome Canon's new EOS M6 Mark II! The latest addition to the M series of mirrorless cameras boasts a new 32.5-megapixel CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus. There are now 5,841 AF positions to choose from, so you'll definitely get focus right where you want it.

The camera measures 119.6 x 70.0 x 49.2 mm and weighs just 408g. However as you can see, it still offers a nice deep grip for better balance with long lenses. It's worth noting that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy Technology are also supported for easier transfer of images to your smartphone.

The Electronic Viewfinder EVF-DC2 is an additional purchase, but this helps in situations with strong external lighting that causes glare and reflections from the rear screen. Using the EVF-DC2 will also allow you to to use Canon's Touch and Drag AF, which lets you move the AF point simply by running your finger across the screen.

At the rear, you now get a lever to switch between Manual focus and Autofocus. The movie recording button is found here again, and it's worth noting that the camera will now do super slow-motion (120fps/100p) videos in Full High Definition, as well as 4K capture without sensor crop (pixel binning).

The EOS M6 Mark II will be available from end of September in a choice of Black or Silver. Prices:-
EOS M6 Mark II (Body only) - S$1,249
+ EF-M15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM - S$1,409
+ EF-M18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM - S$1,849
Purchasing it from October entitles you to redeem a limited edition Doremon Bag and a camera strap. Offer also applies to EOS M50 and EOS M100.

Now for the EOS 90D. This is more of a traditional DSLR, but also has a 32-megapixel APS-C sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS Auto Focus technology. It also has 5,481 selectable AF points, while being able to focus down to -5EV.

As you can see, this comes with a flip out Vari-Angle LCD monitor that offers you greater flexibility in framing, especially when doing video capture. The EOS 90D will capture video in 4K 30p/25p in both cropped and uncropped mode, and is able to take high frame rate videos at 120p and 100p in Full HD.

On top, you have the typical information display and the optical viewfinder. This now includes a single-point spot AF as well as EOS iTR (intelligent Tracking and Recognition) for better face detection. The 220,000-pixel
AE sensor has face detection abilities and helps provide accurate exposure even in poor lighting conditions.

The addition of a dedicated multi-controller joystick is a much welcome sight too, as it gives you more tactile control over AF point selection, even when your eye is to the viewfinder. Shooting through the viewfinder will be supported by 45 cross-type AF sensors with 27 points supporting f/8, a perfect match for the 10fps high speed continous shooting capabilities of the camera.
A full selection of ports can be found on the left of the camera for accessories. You'll also be able to transfer images and video wirelessly through Wi-Fi, with 4K movies automatically compressed to Full HD before transfer. Availability of the EOS 90D is still under wraps, but price points are as follows:-

+ EF-S18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM - S$1,979
