As reported last month and again yesterday, the second Singapore Apple retail store is located at Jewel Changi Airport.
According to Apple, since its opening two years ago, Apple Orchard Road has seen over 4 million visitors.
Apple Jewel Changi Airport’s grand opening to the public is set to take place Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10 am.
If you wish to be among the first to enter the store (and get applause and high fives), be there early as a crowd is expected.
Pro-tip: The first customers who attend the grand opening will receive an Apple commemorative t-shirt.
This new Apple Store at Jewel also takes up two floors, and is located a few steps from Shake Shack.
Like the one at Orchard Road, it borrows heavily from the architecture of Apple Park, which means tall glass panels, high ceilings, stone walls, a lot of timber, and terrazzo floor tiles.
I counted: there are eight curved glass panels (excluding the entrance), each measuring about 8 × 3 meters.
If you've been to Apple Orchard Road (or any of the newer Apple retail stores elsewhere), the internal layout should feel familiar to you.

For some numbers, Apple Jewel Changi Airport carries over 200 of Apple’s latest products.
It also has more than 100 employees coming from all walks of life. Together, they speak a total of 11 languages, including sign language.
As a HomeKit user, I only wish there are more HomeKit accessories sold in Singapore.
Wooden stools, leather seats, medicine balls—remember these?
One thing I like about the Apple Stores is the bright, diffused, and not overly harsh lighting.
And the neatly arranged speakers, spotlights, and sprinkler heads, too—I bet the cabling and piping under the ceiling panels look good as well.
While there are no seating planters in this store, there's still the hand-carved spiral staircase.
Similar to the one at Apple Orchard Road, this staircase features integrated handrails, and it leads up to the mezzanine floor.
Tada!
In addition to getting their hands on the more than 200 Apple products, customers can also come here to get technical advice and support.
Anyone who buys an Apple product can get Personal Setup at this second floor. You can also find someone to learn more about services like Apple Music or useful apps on the App Store.
And let's not forget Today at Apple, which offers free daily hands-on sessions focusing on video and photography, coding and apps, health and fitness, music, and more.
At this brand new store Apple has created a unique session exclusively for Jewel customers called "The Magic of Jewel Changi Airport Photo Walk".
You can find out more about this session in my earlier article. You will also find a short video of the store in this same article—go take a look.
