Seagate

Synology

The Synology DiskStation DS218j is 2-bay NAS designed for mainstream users. It can do wireless backups and can synchronize files across your devices using Synology's Cloud Station Suite. For users who demand more, the Synology DiskStation DS918+ is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU and features 4-drive bays. It  has built-in AES hardware encryption and is powerful enough to transcode up to two channels of H.265/H.264 4K videos simultaneously. It is priced at $729.

 

Transcend

Looking for an M.2 drive? The Transcend M.2 SSD 820 S uses 3D NAND and supports the SATA 6Gbps interface. Available in 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB capacities, it is priced at $55, $85, and $160 respectively.

If you want an inexpensive SSD to breathe new life into your system, the Transcend SSD220S is one of the most affordable around. It is available in 120GB ($55) and 240GB ($85) capacities.

 

Toshiba

Available in 1TB ($73) and 2TB ($99), the Toshiba Canvio comes in four colors and each purchase with come with a free carrying pouch and Toshiba Storage Security and Backup software.
