PC Show 2018 highlights

If you're looking to literally light up your gaming life, check out the ROG Strix Fusion 500. This has Asus Aura Sync for headset to headset RGB lighting synchronization via mobile app control, and is capable of producing virtual 7.1 surround sound. Best of all, it's going for just S$299 at the show, down about S$60 from the usual of S$359.



Bose is at PC Show 2018, and they've got the QuietComfort 35 II on sale for just S$479, down S$50 from the usual price of S$529. That's a good price for these wireless headphones that boast fantastic noise-canceling, Google Assistant support, and a 20 hour battery life to easily take you through your day.

If a speaker is more your thing, look at the SoundTouch 10. This is also on sale, and it's going for just S$271, about S$50 off from the usual price of S$319. That's a great price for these portable speakers that use a Unidome transducer for big sound despite the small size.



Erato is also at PC Show 2018, and their Apollo 7S is again a star buy. This is IPX5 sweat and water resistant and gives you a listening time of up to nine hours on the go, thanks to the carrying case providing an extra two full charges in addition to the three hour play time the earbuds themselves can deliver. They're going for just S$449 at the show, down S$50 from the usual price of S$499. Buy 2, and you can get each piece for S$424. So buy more and save more!

There’s the Verse on sale. Weighing only 4.5g, these use graphene drivers for crisp highs and deep lows. They’re also IPX5 rated against sweat and water, and offer the same three hours of music playback/four hours of talk time, but come with a charging case that brings that total up to 15 hours. They’re going for a slight discount of S$13, as you can have them for S$236 instead of the usual price of S$249, buy two though, and you can have them at S$224 per piece.



How about some sporty true wireless earbuds? Jabra has good deals at the show too, as their Elite Sport is available at a promotional price of S$298, down from the usual of S$368. What’s more, you’ll get a free Jabra sport towel, a S$10 Capitaland voucher, and a Targus lightning to USB cable thrown in (while stocks last). Not bad for true wireless earbuds that will easily take you through your workout with their 4.5 hour battery life.

Otherwise, check out the Jabra Sport Pulse SE. These are more traditional wireless earbuds, with enhanced bass and a heart rate monitor built in so you can better track you workout. It's going for just S$168 at the show, down about S$90 from the usual of S$258. And you'll get a free Jabra Sport Towel and one Jabra Sport wristband thrown in too!

Jaybird's star buy for the show are the Freedom wireless earbuds you see above. Normally retailing for S$259, these are now going for just S$129.50! That's almost 50% off, and you even get a choice of the limited colorways. A fantastic price for these sweatproof earbuds that use Bluetooth 4.1 and A2DP to ensure the best wireless connection possible.  

You could also consider the Jaybird RUN true wireless sport headphones. These are of course sweat-proof and water resistant, and like all Jaybird headphones, can be customized to sound just the way you want them to thanks to the Jaybird app. These offer up to four hours of listening on a single charge, while the charge provides an extra two charges so you have a total of 12 hours of listening on the go.  They’re going for just S$250 at the show, down S$40 from the usual of S$299.

Looking for neckband style in-ear headphones? Klipsch has their R5 neckband on sale at the show, and they're going for S$175, down 12% from the usual of S$199. These are rated IPX4 splash-proof despite being wrapped in pliable, hand-stitched edge-treated leather for a premium feel, so you safely take them out with you no matter the weather.

Klipsch also has the limited 70th anniversary edition of their R6i in-ear headphones on sale, and this is going for S$150, a savings of about 15% from the usual price of S$179. Not too bad for these in-ear headphones that feature dual magnet, moving coil micro speakers for better sound and feature a three button in-line remote so you can use it to take and make calls.

Gamers, the Logitech G233 Prodigy headphones are going on sale. These are being sold in a bundle with the G502 Proteus Spectrum tunable gaming mouse for just S$159, down some S$89 from the usual price of S$238. Pretty good for one of the lightest headphones Logitech has designed to date given it also has proprietary Pro-G drivers for more accurate sound.

Otherwise, look to the Artemis Spectrum wireless gaming headset. This is going for just S$219 at the show, down some S$80 from the usual of S$299. These have 16.8 million-color RGB lighting, modular backlit speaker plates, and three programmable Logitech G-keys, and support both Dolby and DTS Headphone:X profiles for better sound.

If you’re looking for something to workout with, check out one of Plantronics’ star buys for this show – the IPX5-rated BackBeat Fit Boost.
