Oppo officially launched the latest iteration of its Reno series, the Oppo Reno4 Pro along with a new ecosystem of earbuds watch and more. This handset comes just eight months after the Reno 3 series launched. However, unlike the Mediatek powered Reno 3 series that sold in Singapore, the new Reno4 Pro that will be available locally is powered by Quaclomm.

The Oppo Reno4 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip, with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage onboard. It comes in Starry Night and Silky White (as seen here) variants.

The Oppo Reno4 Pro sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ resolution E3 Super AMOLED 3D Curved display, with virtually no bezels. It also has 180Hz touch sampling rate, along with 90Hz screen refresh rate, yielding smoother user experience. It's also Netflix HD streaming certified!

The display also doubles up as your main secure biometrics option with a built-in fingerprint sensor.

The Oppo Reno4 Pro's imaging subsystem consists of a quad rear camera set-up: a 48MP main camera (serviced by a Sony IMX586 sensor), 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP mono lens. This enables the Reno4 Pro to be able to take Night Flare Portrait Mode, or colorized photos using AI Colour Portrait Photo, and even 108MP photos using Ultra Clear mode.

The front facing camera is a single 32MP lens (serviced by a Sony IMX616 sensor) located in the single punch hole (or pinhole) on the top left hand corner of the display. Unlike early punch hole camera cutouts that seem to be eyesore, the cutout on the Reno4 Pro is very compact and almost unobtrusive.

The Oppo Reno4 Pro supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging, which allows complete charging of the phone's 4,000mAh battery in just 36 minutes. It charges through a USB-C port. Elsewhere on the phone, you'll find that it has a 3.5mm headphones output jack, a dual-SIM card tray and external SD card storage support.

The Oppo Reno4 Pro is up for pre-order at a recommended retail price of S$899 from 4th to 14th August 2020. Thereafter from 15th August, the phone will be available in retail channels, telcos, and more.
