 The Venetian in Macau.

Held during the GSMA Mobile Asia Congress (which is the sister event to the annual Mobile World Congress) in The Venetian, Macau, LG unveiled its newest high-end camera phone, the LG Viewty (LG-KU990). The Viewty is equipped with a 5.0 megapixels sensor, has a manual focus option, an image stabilizer and an ISO 800 setting for indoor or night shooting. It can also record video at up to 120 frames per second and a handful of other neat features. As part of LG Mobile's strategy, the Viewty is seen as the first model in LG's new line of high technology handsets. Alongside the Viewty launch, other phones featured include both recently launched and upcoming models such as the LG-KS20, a HSDPA smartphone. Here's a little sneak peek of the LG Viewty and LG-KS20:

Ladies first. These two lovely ladies were given the all-important task of showcasing the Viewty in their well-manicured hands.

Sharing some of the physical traits of the LG Prada phone, the Viewty is not just a beauty, it has brains as well.

The Jog Wheel at the back of the phone allows for manual focusing.

Just like a stand-alone camera, it has dedicated modes for the various options, i.e.: camera, video and preview.

Coming soon, the LG-KS20, LG’s latest slim HSDPA smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 6.
