LG InnoFest 2019 was a showcase of their latest Smart Home products; in a large 15 million AUD mansion no less!

Starting off with the living room, the Signature 88Z9 is the world's first 88" OLED 8K TV, and it comes with an integrated soundbar with support for Dolby Atmos. Powered by LG's α9 Gen 2 Intelligent processor which now plays well with Google Assistant and Alexa, you can now use your TV to ask Google for the weather or to control other smart devices.

Also on display, was the HU85LA, a short throw 4K UHD Laser Smart Home Theater CineBeam Projector. That's a mouthful, but basically it's capable of giving you a 100" 4K (3840x2160) display from just 3.9" away. It supports HDR and there's even a magic remote controlled so you can use it like a Smart TV.

This looks like a regular cabinet, but is really a speaker in disguise. The third in the LG Objet line, the speaker plays from USB, Bluetooth, and FM to name a few. It's another product built in collaboration with Meridian Audio and is capable of 24bit/192kHz High-Res Audio playback.

Also on display was one of LG's latest smartphones - the LG G8 ThinQ. Here, the demonstrator is showing how Air Motion works. Basically, this feature lets you control the phone without even touching it so you can get that call or raise the volume even if your hands are wet or dirty.

This little guy here looks just like a portable speaker, but is actually a handheld air purifier so you can literally take clean air with you. It weighs just 550g and has a built-in battery for wireless use. Neat!

Now here's something for the beer fans out there. The LG HomeBrew makes brewing beer as easy as making a coffee. Simply put in the right flavor pod, turn the machine on, and leave to brew for about two weeks. Cool!

Wine fans, LG has you covered too. The LG Signature Wine Cellar can open automatically via sensor or via voice command. Storing different varieties of wine optimally is now possible thanks to what LG calls "Multi Temperature Control", which lets you set different temperature levels for each level within the cellar.

Also made "smart". is this washer dryer pair from LG. You can ask the washer what setting is best for the type of laundry you want to do, and it will recommend the best settings for you. Likewise, the dryer will take that information and apply drying settings optimally. Neat!
Finally, here's something different - a high tech four-part beauty system that first cleans your skin with a brush, then uses ions to help your skin absorb skin care products more deeply, before using LED lights, high frequency UV and micro currents to tighten and lift skin. Finally, the Derma LED Mask uses 120 LED lights to help make your skin get back its core elasticity.
