Students at all years of their education now need a laptop or tablet to use for study. Whether they are experiencing Zoom classes for the first time in their primary school journey, or in university taking notes in lectures, a laptop makes studying a little bit easier. 

We looked for some deals that can help those who are starting their school journeys and for those who are moving on to the next stages of their education, needing something a bit more powerful. We went to vendor sites and found laptops on offer and affordable, or any that have some form of Back to School deal attached to them.

 

Acer Aspire 3 A315-23-R2NY

The Acer Aspire 3 A315-23-R2NY is a 15.6-inch laptop powered by the AMD Ryzen 3 3250U processor (top speed of 3.9GHz) and ATI Radeon graphics. It’s also equipped with 8GB RAM, a 256GB SSD, with plenty of I/Os, including HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and gigabit Ethernet. What makes this good for students and home use is the price. Usually priced at S$898, it’s now going for S$698 on Acer’s official store which is a savings of 23%.

The ASUS ZenBook UX433 was and still is one of the best bang for buck notebooks you can buy. Stylish and still powerful enough to meet student needs, its slim profile – just 1.09kg heavy and 15.9mm thick belies the power inside.
