Xiaomi Mi IV Dual Driver headphones

The Xiaomi Mi IV is a dual driver headphone featuring a dynamic driver and a balanced armature driver. The dynamic driver handles the bass and mids, while the balanced armature driver handles the highs. Massdrop CTH + SDAC DAC/Amp

If you are a budding audiophile and just starting out in the hobby, the Massdrop CTH + SDAC dac/amp combo is a good place to start. The amplifier section is based on a design by famed amplifier designer Alex Cavalli, whereas the DAC section comes from Grace Design. It features 6.35mm and 4-pin XLR balanced outputs and can channel up to 1W per channel at 50 ohms. The DAC section supports PCM audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. It goes for US$319.99, which sounds like a lot until you realize that you have to spend a lot more to get equivalent gear with the same features and specs. This is a great dac/amp combo for beginners and should provide you with enough power and clarity until you are ready to get more serious gear or when you have more demanding headphones.
