HWZ Deal Alert: 2nd March 2018

#TGIF!

It's Friday! Let's do some online shopping before we leave for the weekend, shall we?

1.) Anker PowerPort Wireless 10 Qi Charging Pad

The Anker PowerPort Wireless 10 Qi-certified charging pad has two modes: a 10W fast-charge mode (using a Quick Charger adapter) for compatible devices and a normal 5W mode. It also features a non-slip top and LEDs that indicate device and charger status. The wireless charging pad is currently selling on Amazon for just US$17 (~S$23), the lowest I’ve seen to date. Resellers here are selling it for S$70, by the way.

2.) Google Home Smart Speaker

More into Google than Apple? With the Google Home smart speaker, you can get hands-free help from Google Assistant, from getting answers and managing your schedule to playing songs and voice-controlling your smart home. Normally retailing for US$129, you can pick one up now from eBay for US$79 (~S$105). That said, this is a good deal if you’re in the U.S., or have means to ship it over affordably. For what it’s worth, resellers here at selling it for around S$150.

Get the Google Home here.

3.) BeatsX Wireless In-ear Headphones

Sporting Apple’s W1 chip, the BeatsX features up to 8 hours of battery life; and when it’s low on power, a quick 5-minute charge is enough to get you 2 hours of playback. Its Flex-Form cable provides all-day comfort and easy pocket portability, and there are eartip options to ensure you get a personalised and secure fit. Normally selling for S$198 here, you can pick up the BeatsX (in blue, gray, or white) from Amazon U.S. for US$90 (S$120). Take note that since Amazon doesn’t ship this to Singapore, you’ve to find your own way to bring it here (ask a friend, use a forwarder, etc.).
