HWZ Deal Alert: 28th October 2016

Got deal, got talk! GDGT! =)

One great way to celebrate a festive weekend is to go e-shopping for awesome gadgets. Feel good with new toys, and feel better knowing you didn’t have to pay a full price. Let’s go!

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

We’ve regarded the Surface Pro 4 as a notebook killer. It has an impressive build quality, married with its portable form factor, finished off with top-end hardware for an efficient workhorse. The deal prices for the Surface Pro 4 start from S$1,189 on Hachi.Tech, depending on the specs of the Microsoft notebook. Original prices start from S$1,399. This deal ends on 13th November 2016, so move quickly.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II (14-42mm kit, Silver)

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 is an ‘entry-level’ mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses. It has an image quality that hits above its weight. This Mark II version comes with improved controls and design, and a new “AF Targeting Pad” feature that lets you use its touchscreen display to shift the focal point while your eye is peering through the viewfinder. Originally at S$ 1,148 at Olympus’s website, you can now get the 14-42mm kit lens set with the camera body in Silver at Lazada for just S$850.

SafeVUE F178 car camera

It never hurts to have an in-car camera or dash-cam to accompany you on routine drives. The SafeVUE F178 records in Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution) with a wide field-of-view at 170 degrees. It also comes with a built-in G-sensor and SD card support (Class 6 and above). You can grab one at just S$66.90 on their own website (U.P. S$199.90). If you prefer conducting your e-purchases on Lazada, you can, but its listed price is an extra two dollars.

Xbox One bundles

From the Xbox Store come the crazy Xbox One bundles – deals that offer up to S$150 in savings with each purchase. For instance, you can buy an Xbox One console (500GB) bundled together with Battlefield 1 for just S$349 (down from S$499). There’s a list of bundles you can find on the Xbox website itself, and offline retailers (B est Denki, Courts, Challenger, Harvey Norman, PLAYe, Toy or Game, etc) are in on it as well. This promotion is effective while stocks last.
