Amazfit GTR (47mm)

The Amazfit GTR is a Xiaomi sub-brand smartwatch that packs activity tracking, AMOLED screen, a stylish corporate aesthetic, 5 ATM water resistance, and a low price all into one device. It comes with automatic tracking of steps and sleep, pushes notifications from your smartphone to your wrist, and offers sports tracking in the arenas of running, cycling (indoors and outdoors), swimming, elliptical machines, climbing, and more. Typically priced at S$219, you can now get it at S$179 from Amazfit's official website. That's 18% off it's RRP.

Fitbit Versa 2

The Versa 2 activity tracker by Fitbit is a 2019 release that comes with a fancy AMOLED screen and fancier features like Sleep Score (which rates your quality of sleep on a nightly basis), Smart Wake (which uses machine learning to find out your optimal wake cycle), and Sleep Mode, where the display and notifications are muted as you smack your lips with your eyes closed. If you love sleep, the Fitbit Versa 2 should be the next thing to get, after a mattress and pillow.

Originally retailing at S$318, the Fitbit Versa 2 is now going at S$258 on its official store at Lazada. That's a 19% discount!

Garmin Vivoactive 4 (45mm)

The Garmin Vivoactive 4 isn't just any smartwatch - it's designed for daily wear, so it's like a regular watch where you can wear it 24/7 - but with all the smartwatch features you'll never need. The Vivoactive 4 packs all-day health tracking, 20 over preloaded GPS and indoor sports apps, and offers up to six hours in GPS and music mode (up to five days if it's just smartwatch mode).

Typically retailing at S$529, Garmin is offering the Vivoactive 4 at a discounted price of S$438 on its official storefront at Lazada, effectively making it 17% off.

Huawei Watch GT 2e

The 2020 Watch GT 2e takes on a fast-fashion aesthetic suited for folks with active lifestyles, which is in contrast to the Watch GT 2's smart-looking, classic design that launched late last year. The new release durable stainless steel frame with wider buttons for controls, and rubberised watch straps that lay flush against the smartwatch's case. The smartwatch's face is a 1.39-inch AMOLED display (454 x 454 pixels resolution) with support for slide and touch gestures. Perhaps the most important feature of all is the 100 different workout modes and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, the latter of which is a new feature to Huawei smartwatches at the time of its launch.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e has an official retail price of S$218. Huawei itself is running a promotion on its official store on Lazada, retailing at S$178 instead - that's about 18% off. Grab it while it's still there...

Oculus Quest 2 (64GB)

Want to play Star Wars: Squadrons in VR? The self-contained Oculus Quest 2 is battery-powered, and it doesn't require an external monitor or extra tracking sensors. It comes with four built-in cameras for player movement, two controllers, and it works with both new and old titles. As a standalone device, it relies on its games store and internal storage, but it's also compatible with PC via Oculus Link Cable (sold separately).

The Oculus Quest 2 is going at S$650 on Amazon, but you could always head over to Lazada for a set at S$569 instead (original RRP is US$299 for 64GB variant). Since it's a new toy that's just released, it'll take a while before it reaches its first shipping dates - which should be the end of October 2020.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition (40mm)

Back in late 2019, Samsung partnered with Under Armour to launch a special edition of its Galaxy Watch Active2. It's designed specifically for the runners with preloaded software that integrate with Under Armour's fitness ecosystem. It can pair with Under Armour's HOVR connected shoes, and it still works like a typical premium Samsung smartwatch. Best of both worlds? Sort of, yes.

When it first launched, the 40mm variant was priced at S$448. You can now pick it up at just S$368 (40mm) from the official Samsung store on Lazada, which works out to an 18% discount. Pretty neat.

Suunto 5

The Suunto 5 is Suunto’s 2019 mid-range sports watch offering, coming in between the entry-level Suunto 3 and the flagship Suunto 9. The Suunto 5 comes in a 46mm large glass fibre-reinforced polycarbonate case with a stainless steel bezel and mineral glass crystal. It is water-resistant to 50 metres, so you can take it swimming. One thing that makes the Suunto 5 stand out is a built-in GPS. This allows outdoor exercise routes to be mapped and tracked more accurately.

At launch, the Suunto 5 sports smartwatch was retailing at S$499. Over at the official Suunto store at Lazada, it's now 15% off for a price of just S$424.

Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5

Called the Mi Band 5 (or Mi Smart Band 5 outside of China), the June 2020 activity tracker is equipped with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display that goes as bright as 450nits. In terms of fitness features, the Mi Smart Band 5 boasts a total of 11 sport modes. The band also come with round-the-clock heart rate and sleep monitoring features, too, which Xiaomi says are now far more accurate due to the significant algorithm and hardware upgrades. On top of other health metrics and features such as a vitality index, stress monitoring and breathing exercises, users can also use the Mi Smart Band 5 to track and record their menstrual cycle and get timely reminders.

At its launch, the Mi Smart Band 5 wasn't immediately available in Singapore. Now, the wearable is listed for S$59, down from its supposed RRP of S$69. The 14% discount seems legitimate since it's the listing from Xiaomi's official store in Lazada. What are you waiting for?
