Towards the end of 2020, Huawei launched their best products yet, from headphones to smartwatches. The Watch GT 2 family continued to expand with the introduction of a premium tier called the Watch GT 2 Pro. At first glance, this looks just like the standard Watch GT 2 with a titanium body and sapphire glass, but on closer inspection, it actually comes with an improved heart-rate monitor sensor array dubbed TrueSeen 4.0+ and a hidden third-party app support feature on the watch itself.
The Huawei Watch Fit on the other hand, looks like a larger Huawei Band that crossed the barrier of fitness band into smartwatch category. Its huge 1.64-inch AMOLED display successfully hides the fact that the Watch Fit is a fully plastic, entry-level smartwatch. And yet, Huawei has managed to put in as much fitness tracking technology as their best smartwatches. This includes new generation TrueSeen 4.0 sensors, which makes the Watch Fit technically superior to the previous Watch GT 2 family of devices except for the new Watch GT 2 Pro.
