Now on to the back. As you can see, that's where the fingerprint sensor lies. The back panel is said to be inspired by diamonds and is made of geometric diamond-cut tiles that reflect and refract to create an X design.
On the bottom is where you'll find the USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.
This angle gives a better idea of the thickness of this phone (The Honor 9X is 8.8mm thick). On the right side is where you'll find the volume control buttons as well as the on/off button.
At the top, you'll find the pop-up selfie camera. This is a 16-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture that hides away into the body and pops up within one second.
The top is also where you'll find the SIM card slot, and this also takes an extra memory card so you can easily expand the memory by up to 512GB by way of a microSD card . The Honor 9X comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage to start.
Finally, we've come to the camera system. The Honor 9X has a 48-megapixel f/1.8 camera that uses a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor, an 8-megapixel super-wide angle f/2.4 camera with 120o field-of-view, and a 2-megapixel depth assist camera. Also at the launch, were some of Honor's latest ventures. The neckband style headphones you see here are the Honor Sport Pro. This has IPX5 water resistance, and provides up to 18 hours of playback on a single charge. It's retailing for S$99 now.
