IT Show 2024.

IT Show 2024 is going on now at Suntec Convention Centre, Levels 3 and 4, until 17 March 2024. There's quite a fair bit of deals out there, so we've made our trips down to find the ones worth checking out.

Don't forget to catch all of our IT Show 2024 coverage at our Tech Show Portal where you'll also have access to full brochure listings, product reviews, features, and more.

Apple iPhone 15 series

Apple iPhone 15.

Apple iPhones need no introduction — much less the latest iPhone 15 series and iPhone 15 Pro series.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro series are discounted (anywhere from 10% to 17%) at the Challenger booth (Booth 318), although not every variant of each model is available (we noticed it doesn’t have the 1TB versions of iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max).

Besides the discount, iPhone purchases also qualify for other IT Show 2024 exclusives,  such as purchase-with-purchase (PWP) bonuses. What stopped us in our tracks, however, was that the booth was offering a free 20W charger with each iPhone purchase.

Elonxtech Powerboost 3-in-1 charger

Elonxtech Powerboost 3-in-1 charger.

If you don’t want multiple cables cluttering your desk while you wirelessly charge your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch all at once, the new Elonxtech Powerboost 3-in-1 charger might be the space-saving solution to fix that.

With an input of 15W and a combined charging output of the same value, you can choose to charge all three at once (at a slower rate), or enjoy the full 15W for a single iPhone placed on this multi-pronged wireless charger. Understandably, MagSafe charging is limited to 15W by Apple, so this is as good as it gets for wirelessly charging Apple devices. We’re just glad we can charge three devices with one input cable, since it’s usually the cables that make things messy, and fast.

Another perk of the Powerboost 3-in-1 charger is it's foldable, making it highly convenient for business travellers or other road warriors.

It’s a new product, so the charger isn’t available at Elonxtech’s official website as of writing. However, you can pre-order it if you visit them at IT Show 2024, Booth 8535. It’s going at a pre-order price of S$69, down from its usual S$79.

Google Pixel 8

Google Pixel 8.

Google Pixel 8 is a competent smartphone, earning its Editor’s Choice recommendation from us because of its AI smarts, excellent display, good processors, and decent battery life. Our only gripe was its price, because the Pixel 8 was significantly more expensive than its predecessor.

At the IT Show 2024, the Google Pixel 8 is much cheaper at S$869 for 128GB, down from its S$1,099 price tag. Other exclusive gifts with each purchase include a free official Google Pixel phone case for the phone (worth S$49.99), a free exclusive “Google Merchandise” (worth S$50), and a chance at a luck-based sure-win prize draw. The prize draw has a nice variety of prizes, with the grand prize being a Google Pixel 7 (128GB).

Honor Magic V2

Honor Magic V2.

The Honor Magic V2 single-handedly made Singapore’s flagship-tier bookstyle foldable smartphone offerings more competitive. Both displays are LTPO OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the phone is incredibly slim at 9.9mm when folded. It’s also great for users who miss using Huawei’s interface, because Honor’s MagicOS Android reskin is remarkably similar, but retains full Google Mobile Service support.

Honor Magic V2 officially retails at S$1,999. At the Challenger booth (Booth 305), each purchase of this phone nets the customer a free Honor Watch GS3 (worth S$299) and ABKO Mini Cordless massage Gun (worth S$52).

OPPO Pad 2

OPPO Pad 2.

OPPO Pad 2 is unique because it’s the closest modern Android tablet you can get with dimensions resembling A4 paper, thanks to its 7:5 aspect ratio. This has several functional benefits, like having a more natural-looking split-screen view and a better fit for certain documents you’d open on this tablet. Paired with its 9,510mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, it’s still a beastly tablet for light work and videos, all on its 11.61-inch LTPS LCD panel with up to 144Hz refresh rate.

OPPO Pad 2 retails at S$799, same as its official price. However, you can get a free Smart Case tablet cover (worth S59) along with a free Lefant Robot Vaccum (worth S$299, two-years warranty) at CR Group (booth 8121). This way, you can enjoy your online shows while the robot vacuum does the chores for you.

OPPO Reno11 Pro

OPPO Reno11 Pro.

The OPPO Reno11 Pro is a 2024 mid-range smartphone with one standout feature: it excels beyond its main rivals and even higher-end counterparts in portrait photography.

The rear camera array boasts a 50MP main camera, 32MP telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide camera, but it's the Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System that makes it all come together and deliver its hyperrealistic yet pleasant portrait shots of people.

The OPPO Reno11 Pro is going at its official price of S$899. However, it comes with a free pair of OPPO Enco Buds2 (worth S$81), and it unlocks the opportunity to get the OPPO Watch X at S$399 (instead of the usual S$499) as a purchase-with-purchase option. Find this deal at CR Group’s booth (Booth 8121).

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra via Singtel

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra at Singtel booth.

Samsung’s flagship stylus smartphone is the only modern choice for people who love using a stylus on their smartphones, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra version does not disappoint.

But what’s remarkable here is that Singtel is still offering this phone via contract and SIM-only options at its booth (Booth 8115). Opting for either telco option would still get you a freebie: a choice between a Samsung Galaxy A14 5G handset (worth S$321) or a Galaxy Buds2 Pro with a S$50 cashback.

To qualify, Singtel contract plans with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra need to be an M Plan (S$225 upfront fee and S$98 per month) or higher. SIM Only Plus plans have to be the SIM Only Plus 45 (S$32.10 per month) or Plus 55 plans (S$39.22 per month).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is an extension of the flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series paired with the cost-effective FE designation by the Korean brand. In short, it gives users a taste of flagship-tier performance at a more accessible price point.

This 12.4-inch tablet manages to offer that by using LCD panel, but keeping its sharpness high with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Battery capacity is still massive, at 10,090mAh, while the processor is an entry-level Exynos 1380. In short, this tablet is great if you believe tablets are meant to make portable video-watching more convenient.

Originally priced at S$877 for the Wi-Fi variant, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ at the Best Denki booth (Booth 8105 and 8215) is also adding in the official Tab S9+ SmartBook Cover (worth S$139), so you don’t have to worry about finding a protective sleeve for it.

Xiaomi 14

Xiaomi 14.

The Xiaomi 14 is the 2024 flaghship phone of the brand, with all the latest components and features. It’s extremely similar to its Ultra variant, except for its smaller battery capacity (at 4,610mAh), slightly lower wireless fast-charging at 50W, and having fewer telephoto cameras. However, it still has the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset by Qualcomm, on top of the beautiful display and Leica optimisations.

The Xiaomi 14 with 512GB storage has the same retail price of S$1,119 outside of IT Show 2024. However, the Challenger booth (Booth 305) is giving away “free premium gifts” with a total worth of S$479.68 with each phone purchase. Besides getting a Xiaomi 14 Gift Box (which contains the Professional Photography Kit, worth S$129), there’s also one free screen replacement within six months of purchase, six months of Google One’s 100GB cloud storage subscription, three months of YouTube Premium, and 1+1 year of extended warranty for the device.
