Hello, and welcome back to our highlight reel for Esports Festival Asia 2019. It’s Day 4 – everything so far has led up to this day. Which teams have prevailed through the onslaught, and which have had to bend their knee in defeat?
Let’s find out!
Kicking off Day 4’s highlights are the Ace League Grand Finals for two games: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile. First up, on the MLBB stage, we saw EVOS SG take on Notorious Villains for 1st place. And although the latter put up an amazing fight, EVOS stood firm, eventually taking the gold home.
Meanwhile, a winner was also crowned for PUBG Mobile. Our champions this round are Axis X Bosskur, a tight-knit squad that beat out fierce competition such as Divinity Reapers and Divinity Gaming, which placed second and third respectively.
Moving on to the China Mobile Esports League (CMEL), today saw an immensely heated clash between Animal Kingdom and Impunity in League of Legends for the chance to represent SEA at the finals in Chongqing, China. Despite Impunity’s best efforts, Animal Kingdom managed to pierce through, taking their nexus and the regional crown with it.
Alright guys, that's enough time in the spotlight – it's the girls' turn to shine! The Female Esports League concluded its League of Legends tournament today as well, with Box Gaming standing amidst the ashes of TOP 10 DINOS' nexus. It definitely wasn't an easy victory for them, but it was a victory nonetheless.
Finally, on the Extremesland stage, we see the conclusion of the Asia Open CS:GO qualifier. In a stunning riposte that saw impeccable skill and reflexes on display, B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape prevailed over Bren Esports! This means they’ll be making their way to Shanghai, China later this year.
