The new Pixelbook Go is a pretty cute laptop. It's small, featuring rounded edges and soft lines that go well with its pastel Not Pink colour. It'll also be available in Just Black, which is actually the colour it's launching with.
The painted magnesium chassis keeps the Pixelbook Go light, and it weighs just over a kilogram. It is powered by an Intel Core m3, i5, or Core i7 processor and 8GB or 16GB of RAM, with storage options ranging from 64GB to 256GB. It starts at US$649 and is available for pre-order starting today in the US and Canada.
The 13.3-inch display comes with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution by default, but there's also an option for an upgrade to a 4K screen.
The keyboard uses what Google calls Hush Keys, which are supposed to be quieter. They feel pretty much like most other laptop keyboards though, with relatively shallow key travel.
The bottom is a delicious pink, and it has ridges that are supposed to make the laptop easier to grip and carry around.
The Pixelbook Go has just two USB-C connectors and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The second USB-C port is located on the right side.
