LG V30+

It took a while, but the LG V30+ is finally coming to Singapore. The ‘+’ in the name refers to the fact that this is the V30 that comes with 128GB of storage, compared to the V30 non-plus that comes with 64GB. On top of that storage space, you get a 6” phone that’s very much tuned for audio; it comes with a Hi-Fi Quad DAC and headphone jack.

The V30+ will be available in Singapore from 2 December 2017 at S$1,098. If you register your interest for the V30+ from 31 October to 17 November 2017, you can receive a pair of Beoplay H3 earphones worth S$229 with a purchase of the V30+ from authorized retailers.

Xbox One X

Microsoft's new Xbox One X is the most powerful console in the world, thanks to a new custom GPU engine that runs at 1,172MHz and produces 6 teraflops of graphical power. That power lets it push 4K, HDR gaming, and it also supports 4K Blu-rays and Dolby Atmos.

The Xbox One X is launching in Singapore on 21 November 2017 for S$699, and you can pre-order from both the Microsoft Store and authorized retailers from November 7. The limited edition Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition is also available exclusively through the Microsoft Store.

HP Omen X laptop

This is HP’s first laptop to truly go after the ultra-high-end segment of the market. The 17.3-inch HP Omen X boasts an FHD 120Hz panel, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, and an over-clockable Intel Core i7-7820HK processor. With specifications like that, it tears through all of the latest titles, but be prepared to pony up a pretty penny. While we've not reviewed the 17.3-inch  HP Omen X, we have tested out the 15.6-inch counterpart, so if you want to know how its features, build quality and other usability aspects stack up, check out our review here.
