Sharp executives spoke to the media during a Q&A session and said that they hope to hit double-digit growth for their TV sales in the region.

The TV comes powered by Google TV along with some additional software from Sharp. 

The photo software from Sharp allows a user to create a favourite folder and use it similar to a screensaver. 

Sharp also created a smartphone app so a user can control the TV via one's smartphone. 

The TV comes with an amazing four HDMI 2.1 ports, so you don't have to lose sleep over which of your consoles, gaming rig(s), TV box(s) and audio system gets to reap the full benefits of HDMI 2.1, such as dynamic HDR support, variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode (ALLM) and eARC support.

The bezels of the AQUOS XLED TV are hardly there. 

There are 88 times more pixels in an AQUOS XLED TV, making it six times as bright as a conventional 2022 LCD TV. 

While Japan sells a 70-inch model, this won't be making its way across the sea to us. 

During our launch trip, we also learnt that in Japan, customers first look at the size of the TV followed by the price. Customers in ASEAN who buy their TVs from a store look at the brand first as they want a brand they consider as prestigious.
