Once we assembled our systems, we thought that we should run them through our usual gaming benchmarks (and some newer ones) to find out how they compare against our current graphics test bed. For all the test scenarios, we have kept with the GeForce GTX 295 as our GPU so it will be a comparison of how the processor and platform performs.

  • Intel Core i7-975 Extreme Edition (3.4GHz with Turbo Boost enabled)
