In Crysis Warhead, the AMD system appeared to be held back by the CPU as in both cases, with and without anti-aliasing, the scores were quite similar. This was unlike the two other systems, which were faster without anti-aliasing. However, for most of the resolutions, one can see that the three systems produced almost identical results, which implies that the GPU has reached its limits.

Next, we tried Cryostasis, which has an option to have NVIDIA's PhysX enabled for those additional effects that rely on the GPU to do the physics calculations. Since we are using a GeForce GTX 295 graphics card for all the systems, PhysX is supported. In this game, we found that the Intel system performed significantly better than the AMD system, with the old reference system slightly ahead of the AMD. Here's where the extra cost of the Intel system pays off since the Intel architectures appeared better suited for this game.
