Dell to launch XPS M1210 and M2010

Presenting the new XPS notebooks.

Dell's XPS systems are finally coming to Singapore! If you have been drooling for one of those cool high-end portable gaming machines that first debuted in the US, start saving up now, as they will soon be available in certain parts of Asia. Today, we were given an up-close preview of two XPS notebook offerings, the Dell M1210 and M2010, and here's some information to give you a taste of what's to come:-

XPS M1210

The 12.1-inch XPS M1210 is aimed at road warriors who demand top-of-the-line class of notebooks and good after sales service. Users can enjoy games and demanding multimedia content with relative ease as this notebook uses the fastest Intel Core Duo processor available - the T2600 which is a dual-core processor clocked at 2.16GHz, has 2MB of L2 cache and operates on a 667MHz FSB to the system backbone. The XPS 1210 comes in two variants, one that is configured with an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 GPU and the other sports Intel's GMA950 integrated graphics engine. For the best experience, we would of course recommend the former model.

Using lightweight materials, such as magnesium alloy for the frame, the Dell XPS M1210 weighs about 1.98Kg, which is quite reasonable considering its full specifications. The XPS M1210 is available now with a recommended retail price of S$2,068 and comes with a one-year XPS 24x7 phone support. Pictures can relate more than just words alone, so check out the following photos for feature highlights:-
