Deal Alert: 22nd February 2016

Got deal, got talk! GDGT!

Don't worry if you didn't manage to win anything from last week's mega lottery. We have round up some good deals here to help save you some money and also to get over your disappointment.

Anker PowerPort 6 (60W / 12A 6-Port USB Charging Hub)

If you are a notebook user and you find yourself always running short of USB ports to charge your numerous mobile devices, you might want to invest in a USB hub from Anker. The brand is something of a USB hub specialist and the PowerPort 6 is a favorite amongst many notebook users. Each port offers up to 12W and 2.4A of juice, so it can charge iPads speedily. Note, however, that if all six ports are in used, each port will offer a maximum of 10W. That's still more than sufficient to charge all mobile devices. Best of all, the Anker PowerPort 6 is available now for S$39.90 from Lazada.

And if you use Shopback, you can bring the price down even more. Shopback is a service that offers cashback (up to 4% on electronics) for purchases you make through their website. Once you purchase something and it's recognized on your ShopBack account, you can then withdraw the cash (provided you've accumulated at least $10 in savings) to your bank account.

Cities: Skylines

Cities: Skylines was released to rave reviews last year and is generally considered the best city simulator right now. There’s also a very vibrant modding community for the game, which adds to its replay value and fun factor. Recently, developers Colossal Order released a new expansion for the game called Snowfall, which adds snow and other winter-themed elements. Rather fortuitously, Cities: Skylines is being offered on Steam at a pretty massive 60% discount right now, which means you can get the game for just S$11.60.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum

If you are in the building type of mood, we got good news for you. With the new Rollercoaster Tycoon World game set to be released some time soon, we thought that it would be a good time to take a trip down memory lane with Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, the last game made in the very popular Rollercoaster Tycoon series. Not only that, it was also the only one that was done in 3D. The game is available on GOG.com at 70% off for just US$5.99.

Get your wallets and cards ready and #BBBMTL!
