Comex 2016 highlights

Fujifilm

The new Fujifilm X-E2S is one of their star buys at the show, and this 16.3MP ILC with X-Trans CMOS sensor II comes with a free NPW126 battery, cleaning kit, bottom leather case, two free 16GB SD cards, a photo prints voucher and a free Instax Mini 8. It’s going for just $1,599 after the instant cashback.

Also on offer, is the X-A2 with XC16-50 II and XC 50-230mm kit. Unlike the X-E2S, the X-A2 uses a regular CMOS sensor but features Wi-Fi capabilities so you can control it from your smart device. Get the kit at the show for $1,099 and you’ll get two 16GB SD cards, a free jacket case, cleaning kit and a photo prints voucher.

For something even smaller, look to the XQ1. This compact camera features a 12MP X-Trans CMOS II sensor matched with a f/1.8-f/4.9 4x Optical Zoom lens, and is going for just $349 at the show. You’ll even get a free 8GB SD card and a free case too!

Fuji Xerox

The Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P265 dw is an A4 mono laser printer with Wi-Fi, going at S$149 (U.P. S$199), comes with free S$20 NTUC vouchers and a trolley at Comex.

The DocuPrint CM225 fw is an A4 color MFP S-LED printer that prints, scans, copies and faxes, with Wi-Fi support. S$479 (U.P. S$649) at the show, with free S$80 NTUC vouchers, trolley and VR glasses.

If you need something a little more heavy duty, the DocuPrint CM305 df A4 color MFP laser printer is S$579 (U.P. S$799). Prints, copies, scans and faxes, auto-duplex and network ready. Comes with free S$80 NTUC vouchers, 2 years additional warranty, a wireless router worth S$39 and free installation.

 

Garmin

The Garmin Fenix 3 HR has an Omni-direction EXO antenna that lets it track in more challenging environments than GPS alone. Its 1.2-inch Chroma display is highly visible even in bright sunlight and it has a wide selection of fitness training features including advanced running dynamics with vertical oscillation. Grab one from Comex for $759 (usual price: $799)

 

Gigabyte

Gaming ultrabooks are quite a rarity, but that’s exactly what the Gigabyte Aero 14 is. The 14-inch Aero 14 features an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M graphics card. It also packs a 256GB SSD, which should be enough for most folks. It is selling for $2,199 now, but if you’re a GamePro member, you can drop the price further to just $1,999.

The 15.6-inch Gigabyte P55W has been updated with NVIDIA’s 10-series cards as well. It utilizes an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD. Graphics processing is handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB card. It is selling for $2,499 now, down from a usual price of $2,699. Again, if you’re a GameProSG member, you can slash the price further to $2,299.

For more power, you can look to the Gigabyte P57X, a 17.3-inch notebook with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. Other specifications include an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD and 1TB SSD. It can be yours for $2,999, compared to $3,399 outside the show. And if you’re a GameProSG member, the price falls to just $2,799.
