Acer's Booth
Acer has many notebooks and LCDs on sale that should be popular with students and the likes.
Its design will surely be a hit with students and so is its price of just $1,198. Acer is throwing in a 1GB RAM upgrade free into this notebook that has an AMD Turion 64 MK-38 processor (2.2GHz) with 80GB HDD, DVD-Super Multi Double Layer Drive, GeForce 7000M graphics and genuine Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic.
One popular model that's selling fast is the Acer Aspire 4710-3A1G16Mi that's going for $1598. This is a faster and more equipped notebook than the Aspire 5710, sporting an Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5450 (1.66GHz with 2MB L2 cache and Intel EM64T), 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB HDD, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a 5-in-1 card reader, Dolby Certified Surround Sound System and Windows Vista Home Premium. If you have a slightly fatter budget, this is the Aspire notebook to buy.
Taking performance up several notches is the Aspire 5920G-302G16N notebook. At $2,498, this notebook is packed with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7300 (2.0GHz with 4MB L2 cache and Intel EM64T). 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB SATA HDD, built-in Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, DVD Super Multi Double-Layer drive, a 5-in-1 card reader, integrated 0.3-megapixel webcam and an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics means this notebook is capable of 3D gaming.
For those looking for a desktop computer with a very small footprint and performance of Intel Core 2 Duo technology, the Acer Mini PC is one for your consideration. It measures just 25cm tall and 6cm thick, and Acer is providing up to $300 instant cash off and a 2GB SD card (for UOB card members only). There are three versions on sale with prices starting from $1,199 to $1,799.
The Acer Aspire M5630 tops Acer's multimedia PC category by featuring an Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q6600 (2.4GHz with 8MB L2 cache). Apple's Booth
Priced at $2048 for the 20 inch 2.0GHz model, the new iMac has an option to upgrade to the 2GB RAM at $88 with free Microsoft Office STE and cleaning kit. Definitely worth looking out for.
Aigo's Booth
The aigo A396+ digital photo frame offers video playback support in addition to displaying your photos with slide-show functionality, customizable background music, remote control function and supports multiple input formats such as SD/MMC/CF/XD/MS Pro and generic USB. The A396+ is a hot buy at Comex and the first 50 customers get a free 1GB dual interface SD/USB memory card.
Big ticket items this Comex for aigo is their trio of pocket Video Players. The A576 is the latest addition to the series that comes with line-in recording functionality and digital voice recording. Buyers of the A576 can top up another S$10 to get a set of E023 travel speakers worth S$49. Another player on offer is the A578 multi functional player that has a large 2.4-inch TFT LCD, built-in camera, FM tuner, voice recording, photo slide-show and game functionality. Lastly, there is the petite A389 that supports video, audio, FM radio, photo browsing and an e-book reader.
ASUS' Booth
Though they may not be the biggest LCD brand in the local market, ASUS has a comprehensive lineup and some very extremely attractive LCDs monitors on display at their booth.
Gamers who have not abandoned their PCs for the console will find ASUS' G1 and G2 series of gaming notebooks to their taste. With a desktop class GeForce 8600M GT graphics chipset to complement its Core 2 Duo processor, these notebooks are fast and ready for the latest games. And only at Comex, limited quantities of a Sony PSP comes free with every purchase. That's not including the free notebook backpack and a 1600dpi mouse.
Acer has Ferrari while ASUS has Lamborghini. This new ASUS notebook, the VX2S, is designed with the help of the super car manufacturer and underneath is gleaming exterior, you'll find the latest T7500 Core 2 Duo processor, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM and a GeForce 8600M GT. ASUS also assures customers with a zero bright dot policy for its 15.4-inch display.
The ASUS A8 series of notebooks are perfect for the average user, with prices ranging from $1798 to $2598, depending on the configuration. At the very least however, you'll get an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 1GB of DDR2 RAM. This model shown here is the A8Sc, which comes with a discrete GeForce 8400M graphics chipset for $2298.
AVG's Booth
Popular antivirus vendor AVG has its Internet Security product for sale at Comex. Home users can secure up to 3 computers for 2 years for $128 instead of the usual price of $142. Compared to the free downloadable version, the Internet Security package includes anti-spyware and malware capabilities, along with anti-spam and a firewall. There's also free tech support 24/7.
Aztech's Booth
The new launch from Aztech, the 802.11n 4-port broadband router and 802.11n wireless USB 2.0 adapter, WL950USB costs $249.90 together. Go for it!
This new product from Aztech, the 4-port wireless router, costs only $129.90. And it comes with free 802.11g wireless USB 2.0 adapter, WL635USB.

The FX 5051 USB speaker from Altec Lansing is selling for only $369. It features a 5.1 surround sound. To add on, no 6-channel sound card is needed. This price is available only at Comex 2007 and it includes a wireless remote.
A range of wireless routers are available from Belkin, including the N1 wireless router which is the star buy of Comex, going at an irresistible price of $189.

Not satisfied with an entry level camera, yet undecided about getting the top ended model? With the Casio EX-Z1050 tagged at $499, your dilemma will be solved, as it provides 10.1 megapixel and 3x optical zoom, definitely a notch above the entry level, but not as highly priced.
Casio meets YouTube, with its YouTube Capture Mode for its EX-S880, EX-Z77 and the EX-Z1080 series, making photo and video sharing for YouTube a lot easier than before. Priced at $599, $399 and $549 respectively, these would easily be the models that all eyes will be on for the next few days.
Canon's Booth
Canon's Star Buy at Comex, the Pixma MP510 inkjet photo all-in-one printer with individual ink tanks. It features a 1.9-inch LCD, manual photo enhancements and direct card slots. At S$269, the MP510 is quite a bargain off its usual S$345.45 price and comes with a free Samsonite Travel Excursion Sling Bag that is worth S$84.
The Pixma MP145 is Canon's new budget color AIO inkjet printer that will not burn a hole in your pocket. In fact, at S$139 Comex price, the MP145 presents an incredible offer for a home AIO printer with great printing technologies such as Canon's Double Color Gamut Processing Technology. Dell's extensive range of LCD displays adorn its booth, with the 22-inch widescreen model going for $399. The UltraSharp 24-inch model with HDCP support and a variety of USB, DVI-D and VGA ports is also at a competitive price of $899 at Comex.
Among the many notebooks offered by Dell, the Inspiron 1520 is a competent model starting from $1649. Specifications include a Core 2 Duo processor T7100, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 120GB hard drive and a GeForce 8400M GS chipset.
Divoom's Booth
Dolby and THX ready, the Divoom Comet T1 impresses with a good performance-to-price ratio. $189 will get you this system that comes with a full-function digital remote control and virtual surround capability. It's more than powerful enough for enjoying movies in your bedroom.
We were caught out by the bass performance of the Divoom X Force 2 when making our rounds. This $129 2.1 speaker system packs a strong punch that will be appreciated by people who enjoy blasting dance music.
D-Link's Booth
This high end IP camera from D-Link features wireless G 10x optical zoom and two way audio, all for the price of $999.
D-Link's DI- 524 wireless router is going for sale at the price of $59 which suits all personal needs. This is no doubt one of the must-buy products.

Fuji Xerox's Booth
The Fuji Xeros DocuPrint 203A is a personal A4 monochrome laser printer that's capable of 20ppm print speed with a print resolution of 2,400 by 600 dpi. Down from a usual price of $203 to $159 but retaining the 3-year carry-in warranty, Fuji Xerox makes the deal even sweet by throwing in a free $30 shopping voucher.
Positioned and affordably priced for businesses is the WorkCentre 2090 FS A4 color multi-function laser printer. Providing print, copy, scan and fax capabilities, the printer offers 25ppm for black and 5ppm for color print jobs, making it an ideal printing solution for departments that do not print colors often.
Departments that do not need copying and scanning can save money by going with the DocuPrint C525 A that's down from a usual price of $610 to $449. This A4 color laser printer serves up 25ppm and 5ppm for black and color print jobs respectively. It comes with a 300MHz processor, 1-year on-site warranty and a maximum print resolution of 9.600 by 600 dpi.

Fujifilm's Booth
The Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd is a brand new line of compact digital cameras targeted at the younger and hipper crowd. With seven different colors that include Wasabi Green and Hot Pink, don't think that the Z10fd is a low end camera. It sports a 7.2 Megapixel sensor, ISO1600 capability, world's fastest 10-face detection engine and picture stabilizer technology. The FinePix Z10fd is on sale for S$399 and comes with a slew of free gifts including a 2GB SD card, card reader, mini tripod and lens cleaning kit.

Another new entry from Fujifilm that has been spotted at Comex, the prosumer FinePix S8000fd is an 8 Megapixel monster with an 18x optical zoom, 27mm wide angle lens, dual image stabilizer, 10-face detection engine and ultra high sensitivity up to ISO6400 (4MP only). This digital camera is going for S$649. Expect the same slew of free gifts.
Fujifilm is busting out all their new cameras here at Comex as we come across the third new entry, the FinePix F50fd, a 12 Megapixel compact digital camera with similar features to the S8000fd above. It has an ISO6400 sensitivity, dual image stabilizer, 10-face detection engine, aperture/shutter priority and a large 2.7-inch LCD screen. The F50fd is going for S$799 and it comes with a FinePix A900 9 Megapixel Super CCD camera. That's a buy one get one free package of two digital cameras in addition to the usual free gift bundle.
Besides the latest and greatest, Fujifilm is also letting go some of their older generation cameras with some great prices. The FinePix A820 is a Star Buy product going for an amazing S$199. This is an 8.3 Megapixel Super CCD camera with 4x optical zoom and picture stabilizer technology. Free gifts include a 1GB SD card, card reader, mini tripod, lens cleaning kit and battery charger kit.
Fujitsu's Booth
This 14.1 LifeBook S7111LE2 comes with a dual core processor (T2130) and is based on Intel's 945GM Express chipset. It has 1GB of DDR2 RAM and has a 120GB hard drive. Priced at $2188, there is limited stock and it is only available at Comex.
This extremely portable LifeBook U1010 has a tiny 5.6-inch widescreen display, uses an Intel A110 processor based on Intel's Ultra Mobile platform and is capable of running Windows Vista Home Premium. It also has 1GB of DDR2 RAM and 40GB hard drive capacity. Only limited stocks of this model is available at $1988.
HP's Booth
HP has a considerable presence at Comex and the products on show include all its PCs, PDAs and printers. Not to mention Compaq.
An attractive offer open only to students is this HP Pavilion tx1222AU. Powered by a dual core AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor, this tablet PC has 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and a GeForce Go 6150 chipset, A fingerprint reader and a 1.3 mega-pixel web camera makes this 12.1-inch notebook extremely versatile and multi-role. Windows Vista Home Premium is installed and we bet that students are queuing up to get this for just $1499.
Suited for professionals, the HP Compaq 6910b (on the left) costs $2799 and comes with up to date features like a Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, TPM 1.2 security chip and a fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, the other model here is the portable 12.1-inch HP Compaq 2710p, a lightweight tablet notebook with a Core 2 Duo processor and integrated X3100 graphics. However, its price tag of $3999 does seem rather excessive.
HP has teamed up with Garskins to offer these skinning options for its notebooks. It's a chance for users to customize their own unique appearance for their notebooks and will probably be popular with the younger crowd.
At only $98, this all-in-one deskjet (F4185) fulfills the basic functions of printing, scanning and copying. It's a cheap but competent printer for the home and a HP gift bag awaits all buyers.
For higher printed photo quality, there's the HP Photosmart C5180 at $298 with a free trolley and electronic Sudoku game. There's built-in networking and memory card slots for this all-in-one.
A further upgrade to the C5180 is the C6180, which includes wireless networking and an automatic document feeder. It prints black and white pages at 32rpm while color is only slightly slower at 31rpm.
HTC's Booth
HTC showing up for the very first time following the acquisition of the Dopod brand and setting up a care centre in Singapore.
Exclusively for COMEX 2007 is the wasabi green HTC Touch. Everything about it is exactly the same as the black version except that it costs $40 more to own at $838. 1GB microSD card is standard though.
Making a splash at COMEX 2007 is the new HTC _3600i. This device packs in HSDPA (3.5G) support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP & AVRCP, and a built-in GPS antenna for navigation. It's currently selling at $1,228.
The usage proposition of the Dopod U1000 remains very niche, appealing mostly to gadget lovers who really want an all-in-one device. If $1,688 is a price that's comfortably within your means, then this mini notebook will be an excellent mobile companion for you and your Internet lifestyle. The promotional bundle ocmes with a Canon Pixma MP145 photo printer that's worth $179.
Smartphone lovers who prefer one handed operation over stylus input will love the Dopod C730 that comes with 3.5G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Push Mail and editable Microsoft Excel and Word for genuine mobile office productivity. $798 will get you a 4GB flash memory thumbdrive worth $79 free.

JVC's Booth
Using original wood cone speakers with 2-way speakers, the JVC EX-A5 is a micro system perfectly suited for folks residing in small rooms to enjoy music. Stocks however, are limited, so you'll have to make your way down fast if you want to get it at $449.
Also on offer is the EX-D5, which also has wood cone speakers but doesn't have tweeter drivers for highs. What it does boast is USB wireless PC link.
JVC's exclusive contribution to COMEX 2007 is the GZ-MG135 video recorder. This has an integrated 30GB HDD, 34x optical zoom and built-in video light. Free gifts include limited edition Everio bear, UV lens, tripod, camcorder bag and an additional battery. Only 100 units allocated for COMEX 2007.
Kingston's Booth
As usual, Kingston has its full array of products for sale at Comex, from desktop and notebook memory modules to flash memory products. Apparently, it's also the 20th anniversary for the company.
DDR2 RAM prices seem to be on the upswing, judging from the prices we're seeing here.
All kinds of flash memory cards for your needs, from the standard Compact Flash to mini and microSD used commonly in mobile devices.

LG's Booth
Kind of a misleading price tag but rest assured, the LG DVD Recorders are going at $419 for Comex 2007.
Prices go lower as screen size grows. That's what you get with the LG LB9 Series, which comes in 42-inch and 32-inch sizes. Priced at $2099 for the 32-inch series, you'll be pleased to know this price comes with a 1366 x 768p resolution, and 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, and best of all, it is HD ready for the future.
The Dynamic Wave LC7 series from LG, with a 5ms response time and 2 HDMI inputs, would be a perfect companion for gaming platforms. Integrated with LG's '07 New XD Engine and a 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, the $1299 tag would be a fair price to pay.
Lilliput's Booth
The GPS arena is increasingly crowded and Lilliput is one of the new brands that we haven't seen here before.
With a rather costly price tag of $1399, this GPS from Lilliput has a large TFT LCD of 6.5-inch and a variety of GPS functions, like simulation of the route and pre-loaded maps for Singapore and Malaysia. It is also a multimedia player capable of playing DVDs, MP4, MP3, WMA and VCD formats in addition to digital images.
Logitech's Booth
Buy the Logitech AudioStation, and save up to $50 during your next grocery shopping trip at NTUC. With its iPod docking system, a stereo enhancing effect named "3D stereo", and its external video support, you'll find your $519 well spent on this impressive audio peripheral.
Not much effort there to know what the Logitech Noise Canceling Headphones does. But the real deal comes at its $279 pricing with a $20 NTUC voucher.
Maxtor Booth
Portable storage is a roaring business and Maxtor offers everything from the handy 80GB OneTouch III Mini Edition to the larger ones of 500GB and beyond. At $199 for 500GB, disk space is cheaper than ever, though the Basic model here only has USB2.0 support and not FireWire. The more expensive Turbo Edition remedies this but cost $279 for 500GB.
MemoryWorld's Booth
One of Archos latest product, the 605 WiFi comes in 30/80/160GB of space and plays back videos, photos and music of many formats, including MPEG4, MPEG2, WMV, VOB and H.264. You can even stream files from a PC using its WiFi functionality. This model and other older ones are found at Memory World's booth at 6356.
Microsoft's Booth
The huge Microsoft Booth is not to be missed.
The star buy of Microsoft is this HD DVD Player selling at the price of $249. The first 30 customers will get a Bourne Supremacy HD DVD for keeps.
With the usual price of $69.90, now slashed to $54.90 for Comex, this is a must buy for all Microsoft hardware fans. And it's wireless!
MSI's Booth
Available in black or silver, the 13.3-inch MSI VR320 is an entry level notebook that manages to include a Core Duo processor (2.0GHz) and 1GB of DDR2 RAM. There's even Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed on its 120GB hard drive. MSI provides one year of international warranty and a 60 day zero bright dot policy for its LCD display. Freebies include a free MP3 player, carrier and a travel mouse. All that for $1199.
Muzro's Booth
This MP3 player from Muzro costs $69 for the 1GB version and $79 for the 2GB version. If you happen to appreciate value for money, here you go!
NEC's Booth
NEC was out in full force to promote its notebooks at Comex.
The new NEC Versa E6300 has some interesting design features that stand out from its competitors. A backlit touchpad lights up while the exterior has a leather texture and there's a 2.0 mega-pixel camera. Shortcut keys for recovery, email and Internet are also found. NEC has priced it at $1599 at Comex for this 14.1-inch notebook.
A capable 13.3-inch widescreen notebook at $1999, the NEC Versa S3300 is one of the rare Santa Rosa notebooks in retail, which comes with Intel's Turbo Memory feature. While its merits are debatable, the notebook itself has 1GB of onboard memory and NEC has tossed in a free upgrade to 2GB for this promotion. Graphics is courtesy of Intel's X3100 GMA and there's also space on this 2kg machine for a 160GB hard drive.
A lesser version of the NEC Versa 3300 is the 3200, which only has a dual core processor (T2130). The graphics chipset is the older Intel GMA950 though its coal black metal alloy chassis looks quite elegant. There's only a 4-cell Li-Ion battery though for this 13.3-inch notebook. NEC has included free gifts worth more than $169, including a Trek 2GB thumb drive and a designer carrying case.

O2's Booth
The O2 Atom Life Limited Edition makes it appearance felt at the O2 booth. Sporting a pure matted white color, it is safe from any smudge prints that constantly appears on its black sibling version.
Olympus' Booth
For some, the fear of breaking and damaging a camera due to rugged conditions is always a concern. Enter the Olympus u770SW, the 7.1 megapixel camera that is waterproof to 10m, shockproof up to 1.5m and can withstand a weight up to 100kg. With a 3 year warranty and various freebies, the $699 price tag would surely grab your attention when you head on down to Comex 2007 over the weekend.
Sporting 8.0-megapixel capability and 5x optical zoom, the u820 would be a strong contender amongst other digital cameras thanks to its $499 price tag. Coupled with multiple features such as Advanced Face Detection, Image Stabilisation, Bright Capture Technology and Shadow Adjustment Technology, the choices gets harder for consumers.
Packard Bell's Booth
Packard Bell's lightweight series of EasyNote BU45 notebooks is available in four configurations, with all four weighing in the region of 1.7kg. Components standard across the entire series are Intel Core Duo processor, SATA HDD, 1GB DDR2 RAM, DVD-RW Dual Layer drive, 4-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth, integrated webcam, biometric scanner and Windows Vista Premium. Prices start from $1,398 and to a high of $1,898.
Answering the prayers of those wanting to own a notebook but with really tight budget is the EasyNote F0336-089 notebook that's only going for $777. This affordability is possible by the mobile Intel Celeron processor within. Nevertheless, it still has a 80GB SATA HDD, 512MB DDR RAM, DVD-RW Dual Layer drive, Wi-Fi and ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200M graphics. Not bad at all - just don't expect it to be a screaming performer.
On the opposite end of the performance scale is the EasyNote SB85-006. This is a 17-inch performance notebook with Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor (2.2GHz with 4MB L2 cache). Noteworthy components are the dual 160GB SATA HDDs, DVD-RW Dual Layer drive, nVidia GeForce GO 8600M GS, DVI output, HDMI jack, built-in subwoofer and Windows Vista Premium. It's selling at $2,998.
While it may be well established in Europe, Packard Bell's Compasseo series of GPS modules are relatively unknown here. That might soon change with the Compasseo 600 GPS that is selling for just $599 from a normal retail price of $998. Hurry though, because we've been told $599 is only valid during COMEX 2007.
Palm's Booth
If you are ready to pay $728 for the Palm Treo 680, think of the freebies that you'll be receiving: a 2GB mini SD card with a spare battery, a free Jabra headset and a Calvin Klein voucher worth $50. Get organized and be entertained, with the Palm Treo 680.
Still undecided over whether you should get a Palm, HTC or an O2? How about throwing in a GPS kit and a vehicle power charge free of charge, and get the Palm 750 for a fair price of $998? Fret not, for Comex 2007 ends on Sun, 2nd Sep, giving you a day or two to consider on this.
For the old school Palm users or students on a tighter budget, there is always the Palm T|X and Tungsten awaiting you.
Panasonic's Booth
Panasonic's booth was abuzz with TVs, DVD recorders/players, HT systems, DV Camcorders and Digicams. Showcased here is their Viera Link at work and highlights the ease of which to set up a HD ecosystem. However note that the $2299 42-inch Plasma TV here isn't using a Full HD panel, but it can accept and rescale Full HD signals to suit its screen.
Insist on getting a more vibrant looking Plasma TV? Panasonic knows what its consumers need and offers this new 50-inch Plasma panel. Uses anti-glare process technology, supports 3 HDMI ports and accepts SDHC cards. This $6999 TV comes with a 32-inch LCD TV free and $150 of NTUC vouchers!
Many more Panasonic Plasma panels of all sizes and capabilities are on offer, so come on down to view them first-hand.
The HDC-DX1 is a Full HD camcorder that's based on the 3CCD camera system and Leica Dicomar lens. Supports 5.1-channel sound processing with 5 microphones and has Mega OIS for steady pictures and videos. Priced at $2037, you do get freebies like a carry case, tripod, 3pcs DVD-R DL discs and a dry box.
On the other end of the scale, you do get normal camcorders using HDD and DVD from $799 and $699 onwards as shown in here and they too come with a similar set of goodies.
Philips' Booth
They say a picture tells a thousand words. So what does this lackluster and dull booth showcasing Philips LCD monitors tell us? Well, perhaps the company is so confident of extending its record as Singapore No.1 selling brand for LCDs that they don't need to jazz up their display. Besides, there's a sure win lucky dip for all Philips LCD monitor purchase, with prizes ranging from $79 to $1899.
Every LCD vendor has their 22-inch widescreen LCD and for Philips, it's this 220WS8FB, which has a contrast ratio of 1000:1, supports both DVI-D and VGA, and has 16.7 million colors. It is also HDCP compatible. For these specifications, expect to pay $449 and it's available only in black.
Standard 4:3 LCD monitors are not neglected despite the widescreen craze. Philips has various models like this 19 and 17-inch ones.
An entry level widescreen display is this Philips 190CW7CB, which is a very affordable $299.
Pioneer's Booth
Shown here are the BDP-LX70 Blu-ray player and the HTP-330 home entertainment system. They are going for a special Comex price which is unbeatable elsewhere plus many freebies. So head down and take a look.
This new arrival of home entertainment system from Pioneer is going for a special price of $799, exclusive to Comex 2007. It features RMS 100W x 6 DVD receiver, multi-format player, USB input/HDMI output and also a sound retriever/front stage surround.
This 50 inch wonder is a joy to look at, with a 4000:1 contrast ratio, 1365 x 768 XGA, 884.7 billion colours and ISF C3 calibration, going for less than $8151 at Comex.
Samsung's Booth
From consumer electronics to personal computing goods, Samsung has everything to offer at Comex 2007.
The Samsung S8 series is their recently launched entry level series of LCD panels, but its features are more than adequate for many folks. This 40-inch LA40S81BX panel is HD-ready (1366x768), 7000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2 HDMI ports and has a PC input. At Comex, it comes with gifts totaling $500.
For something more value for money, hop over to Harvey Norman that's clearing the previous generation 46-inch model, the LA-46N71BX at $3399. But hurry, only 5 of them are left.
Want to make good use of that 1080p panel you bought recently? Samsung has the FHD 1080P7 DVD player that can up-scale plain DVDs to Full HD resolutions (1080P), supports Anynet+, DivX playback and is just 45mm thick only. Only $199.
On the mobile phone front, there's a wide selection of delectable slim phones are available for view, hands-on trial, and purchase.
Even the Samsung Ultra Video (SGH-F500) mobile phone was seen on the show floor. No price was made known when we first visited the booth, but do try your luck to press them for a deal.
The popular chic Samsung YP-K3 MP3 players are going for $199 and $299 for the 2GB and 4GB models respectively. Features: 6.95mm slim body, OLED screen, FM radio, clock, photo slideshow, USB 2.0 connectivity and boast 25 hours of playback time.
One of Samsung's star buys was this $298 multi-function mono laser printer (SCX-4200)! Features: 3-in-1 (print, scan, copy), up to 18ppm, USB 2.0, OCR scan support, supports various OS (Windows, Linux, Mac), low running costs with Toner Save Mode, 3-year warranty and even comes with $80 worth of Takashimaya vouchers.
Sandisk's Booth
To drive across the notion of blazing performance, SanDisk's Extreme series of flash memory products is designed by world-renowned motocycle designer, Ducati, which is appropriate given Ducati is synonymous with exclusivity and blistering speed.
You can never have enough memory, and judging from Comex 2007, you'll have a myriad of memory cards to purchase, one of which is the SanDisk Extreme III 4GB going at $149.
