One of Samsung's key focus points for the year is the environment, with a number of key announcements at CES designed with sustainability and energy-saving in mind. Here are some of the more interesting devices announced and on show.

The Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 incorporates a range of innovations that have eco-sensitivity placed first and foremost, including Samsung's Smart Sensor Technology, utilizing both proximity and Ambient Light Sensors (ALS) which automatically turn it on and off when not in use, thereby saving power. It's also crafted from materials that don't require painting, ensuring it contains no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), making recycling more simple and safe. Lastly, the PX2370 contains numerous components created from recyclable materials, and is shipped using less packaging materials, further reducing its environmental impact.

Eco-sensitivity in the business workplace gets a boost from Samsung's F10M data projector that utilizes an LED light source instead of a bulb, with the LED light source claimed to last throughout the life of the projector, with a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, and a brightness of 1,000 ANSI lumens.
