Power users who want a fast desktop storage solution should check out the G-RAID with Thunderbolt 3. It has two drive-bays and supports Thunderbolt 3. It is available in 8TB ($949), 12TB ($1,169), 16TB ($1,459), 20TB ($1,889), and 24TB ($2,319).

 

LaCie

Heading to the wild outdoors and need a portable drive that is just as rugged as you are? The LaCie Rugged Secure is shock, dust, and water-resistant and features hardware encryption. The 2TB version is going for $189 and includes two-year free data recovery service.

 

QNAP

The QNAP TR-004 is a 4-bay direct-attached storage that is great for anyone who is trying to assemble an inexpensive desktop RAID storage system. It connects via USB-C USB 3.0 and supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and JBOD. It is priced at $326.

 

Samsung

The Samsung Portable SSD T5 is a compact, stylish, and fast portable external SSD. Available in 250GB ($119), 500GB ($159), 1TB ($299), and 2TB ($609). The 250GB model comes with a free JBL headphone and leather pouch, while 500GB comes with a free $20 voucher and robot kitty. The 1TB model gets a free $30 voucher and robot kitty. Finally, the 2TB model comes with a free $50 voucher and robot kitty.

The high-end Samsung 970 Pro SSD us available in 512GB and 1TB capacities and are priced at $299 and $529 respectively. The 512GB version will come with a free $20 voucher and the 1TB version will come with a $50 voucher.

The Samsung SSD 860 Pro is powered by the in-house MJX controller and has improved endurance and 5-year long warranty. Available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities. Prices are as follows for the 2.5-inch form factor drive: 256GB ($129), 512GB ($219), 1TB ($439), and 2TB ($799).

The new Samsung SSD 860 Evo also has improved endurance and comes with a 5-year long warranty. Available in 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. Prices are as follows for the 2.5-inch form factor drive: 250GB ($79), 500GB ($139), 1TB ($247), 2TB ($508), and 4TB ($999).

 

SanDisk

The SanDisk SSD Plus is one of the most affordable SSDs you will find at the show. The 120GB version is just $31, the 240GB version is $46, the 480GB model is $89, and finally, the 1TB version is $189.

Looking for a speedy portable drive? The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD could jsut be what you are looking for. Speed aside, it is also water, dust, and shock resistant. Available in 250GB ($122), 500GB ($165), 1TB ($299), and 2TB ($599) capacities. All purchases will come with a free SanDisk carabiner keychain.

 

Seagate

Portable external SSDs are all the rage now and here's the Seagate Fast SSD. It offers transfer speeds of up to 540MB/s and uses a USB-C connector. Available in 250GB ($109), 500GB ($159), 1TB ($319), 2TB ($579). All purchases will come with a 2-month membership of the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan and carrying case.

The Seagate Backup Plus come in 4TB and 5TB versions and also in a variety of colors, including light blue, red, silver, and black. The 4TB version is $159 (U.P $$279) while the 5TB version is $199 (U.P $339). Both drives will come with free soft pouches.

The Seagate Backup Plus Hub is a desktop drive with an integrated USB hub that has two USB 3.0 ports that you can use to charge your mobile devices. The 4TB drive is $149 (U.P $269), while the 6TB, 8TB, and 10TB drives are $219 (U.P $399), $299 (U.P $499), and $389 (U.P $599) respectively. All purchases will come with a 2-month membership of the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan.

 

Strontium

If you need a microSD card for your smartphone, tablet, or in-car video recorder, check out Strontium. You can find a 16GB microSD for as little as $5.90. The 32GB and 64GB versions are just $7.90 and $14.90 respectively.

 

Synology

The Synology DiskStation DS218+ is 2-bay NAS designed for mainstream users. It can do wireless backups and can synchronize files across your devices using Synology's Cloud Station Suite. Mobile apps allow your mobile devices to quickly and safely access files stored on the drive. The barebones kit is $425.

 

Toshiba

The Toshiba Canvio Advance is USB portable external HDD that available in various colors and is available in 1TB ($69), 2TB ($99), and 4TB ($149) capacities.

 

WD

WD's flagship SSD, the WD Black SN750, is available at CEE2019. It offers speeds of up to 3,100MB/s and is available with and without heatsinks. Without a heatsink, it comes in 250GB ($109), 500GB ($169), 1TB ($349), and 2TB ($799) versions. With a heatsink, it comes in 500GB ($219), 1TB ($389), and 2TB ($839) versions.

The WD My Passport Wireless SD features 802.11ac so it can stream directly to any Wi-Fi-enabled device. It also features a built-in SD card reader and with its one-touch copy feature, it can immediately backup content on it without a computer. Finally, it features a rubber bumper for additional protection. Available in 500GB ($429), 1TB ($759), and 2TB ($1,199) capacities.

The WD Blue SSD is available in M.2 and 2.5-inch form factors and is available in 250GB ($69), 500GB ($109), 1TB ($220), and 2TB ($399) versions.
