Projectors & TVs

Casio

The Casio XJ-V2 is a lamp-free XGA (1,024 x 768) projector with a 20,000-hour light source lifespan, and boasts a brightness of 3,000 lumens. Going for $699, and you get a free carry case, HDMI cable, Anycast dongle, and Valore Denimlite wireless speaker.

The 3,000-lumen XJ-V100W has a WXGA (1,280 x 800-pixel) resolution, 20,000:1 contrast ratio, 20,000-hour light lifespan, and a 1.5x optical zoom lens. Going for S$899, with free gifts such HDMI cable, Anycast dongle, and Valore Denimlite wireless speaker.

Epson

The Epson EH-TW5650 is a full HD home theater projector with a brightness rating for 2,500 lumens. It has built-in wireless and a 10W speaker, supports 3D and screen mirroring, and touts a lamp life up to 7,500 hours in Eco mode. Going for S$1,499 and you get free $200 NTUC vouchers, two pairs of 3D glasses, a Logitech M238 Captain Marvel mouse, an HDMI cable, and a trolley.

Philips

The 55-inch Philips 55OLED873 is going for S$1,799 and comes with 3 years warranty. This is the cheapest 4K OLED TV you can find at the show.

Samsung

The new Samsung RU7100 4K smart TV supports HDR10+ and lets you easily find your favorite content via the Samsung Smart Hub and One Remote. The 55-inch model is only going for S$1,799.

Samsung’s 2019 range of QLED 4K TVs are already in Singapore. The star buy, in our opinion, is the Q60R, which supports 100% color, has wide viewing angles, and comes with Bixby voice assistant. The 55-inch model is going for S$2,749 and the 65-inch model S$3,999. As usual, ask for free gifts.

Sony

The Sony A8F is Sony’s flagship OLED TV in 2018, and the 65-inch model is going for S$6,200 here. But here’s the deal: the newer 2019 A8G is already selling in Singapore, and you can get it for S$6,500 at this show (65-inch model). Heck, it even comes with a free PS4. Might as well get the new one, right?
