CEE 2019 highlights

Headphones & Speakers - 1

Bose

Bose is at the show, and their SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speakers are on sale. The speaker measures just 9.5cm wide, 3.8cm high, and 9.5cm deep and weighs only 290g, making it very portable. Bose says it is tested well beyond its IPX7 rating so it will even survive soaks in soapy or chlorinated water! They're going for just $143 at the show, a 20% savings from the usual of $179.

Also on sale, is the SoundSport Free. These true wireless headphones  weigh only 10g each and measure only 2.8 cm high and 3.0 cm deep. They're also built-to-last, being IPX4 rated to resist water and sweat. Speaking of which, they come with Bose’s proprietary StayHear+ ear tips for a secure fit to ensure the headphones stay snugly in place no matter your choice of workout. These are going for just S$287 at the show, down 10% from their usual price of S$319.

Creative

Creative's back at the show, and they're pushing their SXFI in a big way. As you can see, if you already own an SXFI product and have a friend who's interested to get the SXFI Air, bring both down to the show. He'll get $20 off via (just ask the promoters for the voucher) , and you'll get to purchase Creative's latest Outlier Gold for just S$70, a S$60 savings off the usual price of S$139.

Otherwise, the Aurvana Gold looks to be a good buy. These wireless headphones feature Active noise-canceling capabilities and use aptX for better wireless streaming audio. They have 40mm Neodymium drivers for great performance throughout the audio spectrum and premium memory foam ear cushions for extended listening sessions. They're going for S$189 at the show, down $80 from the usual price of S$269.

 

Jabra

As you can see, the Jabra Sport Pace is on sale at the show. This is going for just $58, down $110 from the regular price of $168. Not bad for these wireless sports in-ear headphones that have a IP54 rating against sweat, rain and dust and a fast charge feature that gives you an hour's worth of playback time from just 15 minutes of charging.

Also on offer, is the Jabra Elite Sport. This is going for just S$298 instead of the usual price of $368. That's a 19% savings, and you'll even get a free Jabra water bottle, a free Jabra sport pouch, and a Targus Ring Buckle lightning cable thrown in. Not bad for these wireless in-ears with advanced two-microphone technology for better wireless call performance.

 

Jaybird

Jaybird has their sports headphones on offer at IT Show 2019, with the Tarah Pro here as one of their star buys. It's going for S$189, a modest $36 down from the usual price of S$225. Not bad for these IPX7-rated sport earphones that can give you a full 14 hours of playback time on a single charge.

Otherwise, you can check out the Run XT. These are true wireless ear buds that have IPX7 moisture resistance rating and interchangeable ear fins for a more secure fit. They're going for a show special of $179 instead of the usual of $299, a savings of $120. 

 

JBL/Harman

JBL's star buy for this show is the JBL Extreme you see here. It's going for S$239 instead of the usual price of S$399. Pretty good for this portable speaker with a high capacity 10,000mAh battery and the ability to be connected to up to three smartphones or tablets simultaneously.

Otherwise, look at the Onyx Studio 3. This a wireless Bluetooth speaker with built-in battery that's capable of giving up to five hours of playtime per charge. Get two, and you can even pair them together for bigger sound! This is going for show special of $169 instead of the usual of $299, a savings of $130.

 

Klipsch

Billed as "Your first Premium headphones", the X6i uses a single KG-723 Full-Range Balanced Armature driver which is tuned for midrange and high frequency extension. It of course features Klipsch's patented oval ear tips for excellent comfort and passive noise canceling, and is going for just S$289 at the show instead of the usual of S$329. Buy two or more to get it at S$279, a full 15% off!

 

Otherwise, check out the Reference On-Ear (II). This Bluetooth headphone offers up to 20 hours of wireless playback time, and fold away neatly for storage. This is going for a show special of S$359, down about $40 from the usual of $399, but the wired version can also be had for a clearance price of $189, down $140 from the usual of $329!
