Cooler Master's New GPU Coolers, PSUs & Others

Over to the GPU coolers, the CoolViva series continues to expand. CoolViva Pro II is a more powerful version of the first version we featured earlier thanks to the improved fan unit using a new Hydrodynamics blade design. As such, the fan unit can also operate at a higher RPM range while still maintaining its quiet below 20db operational noise. This cooler is even compatible with upcoming the GeForce 8600/8500 series - though from that we've seen of these upcoming cards, the default cooler should be sufficient.

The CoolViva Z1 is an all-aluminum passive unit (with dual heat pipes), which kind of reminds us of some of ASUS' GPU coolers. It comes with RAM-sinks and is compatible with many current mid-range graphics cards as well as upcoming models.

The Cooler Master G1 is a new entry-level cooler for those who feel their all-passive low-end graphics card is operating too hot for comfort. A 60mm fan unit sunk within its aluminum heat sink structure with an airflow rating of 11.78CFM and 23db operation completes its specs.

When we first had our hands on the Real Power Pro PSU, we really wished it came with a modular connector design. Well, their new 850W and 1000W versions feature just that and they are now supplied with dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors for future (power hungry) graphics card needs. Take note though, these two new power units have much larger dimensions (150x180x86mm) and a larger 135mm fan. No power switch still though.
