The MCP55PM2AA-8EKRS2 motherboard is based on the single chip NVIDIA MCP55P solution. Offering two PCIe graphics slots for SLI setup (x8 lanes in each slot in SLI mode), the board is also designed with a digital PWM power module that, according to Foxconn, offers the best reliability. The board features eSATA, S/PDIF in/out, IEEE 1394a and dual Gigabit Ethernet.

Foxconn's unique digital PWM power design ensures smooth delivery of power to the processor subsystem. Foxconn claims that they are the only one that offers a digital PWM solution for desktop motherboards.

Foxconn also demonstrated NVIDIA's Quad SLI at their booth. For now, Quad SLI will only be available at the OEM side and vendors like Dell will be offering them to consumers. Because of the complexity of the graphics cards and the unconventional card length, DIY users will not get to build any systems with quad SLI graphics (at least for quite sometime). That's just bad news for those hoping to build a Quad SLI system by themselves.

Foxconn's entertainment PC based on the Intel Q965 chipset. Supporting Intel Viiv technology, this PC is meant to fit into the living room with its CE-like interface and full range of audio/video connectors.

Inside the PC, you'll find a micro-BTX motherboard and a standard set of basic PC features.
