The Samsung Galaxy Note9 comes out today! For an in-depth look at Samsung's latest flagship, read our full review here. The phone packs plenty of features, a gorgeous curved display, one of the best dual camera setups out there, and a new and improved S Pen. But its glass and aluminum build is still at risk of scratches or even worse cracking if dropped. Do yourself a favor and buy your new phone some protection.

The official Samsung Protective Note9 case features a ridged back that will help you keep a more secure grip on your phone. The case has been drop tested and has a MIL-STD-810G-516.7 rating. Best of all, it has a built-in kickstand that lets you prop up the Note9 in landscape mode to enjoy video content on that 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. Available in black or silver.

If you want some added protection but you don't want to cover up the gorgeous design of your new Note9, check out the Spigen Liquid Crystal case. The polyurethane case is hard and scratch resistant and offers excellent protection without adding any extra bulk. Each corner of the case is shock-absorbent thanks to Spigen's Air Cushion technology to protect against drops and knocks.

The Incipio Note9 DualPro case is one of the best cases you can buy to protect your new Note9, as it wraps your phone in a shock absorbing interior wrapped in a tough, polycarbonate shell. It will safely cushion your Note9 in the event of a fall from up to 3 meters. There’s also a raised bezel around the screen to prevent the display from coming into contact with any surface.

The Note9 already has an excellent camera, but if you really want to take your photography to the next level, check out the Moment photo case. By itself, the case features a rubberized body that protects from drops and an attractive black canvas or walnut wood back panel. But what really makes it special is when you attach one of Moment's proprietary camera lens. There's an anamorphic lens, a wide-angle lens, a super fisheye lens, a macro lens, and a tele portrait lens, and they all pair with the Note9's existing camera and Moment's Pro Camera app.

The LifeProof NËXT case is the ultimate case for adventurers and offers protection against drops, dirt and even snow. The case offers a tight seal that shields your ports, buttons, microphone, and speakers from any dirt or debris from getting in, and the hard shell case protects against falls of up to 2 meters. The transparent design lets you still see the Note9's gorgeous design.

If you're looking for something affordable (after all, you just spent S$1,398 on your phone) that still offers decent protection, check out the ESR Kikko case. It costs just US$11.99, but it's made of high-quality soft polyurethane and offers a textured back for a better grip. It also has cushioned Air Guard corners for extra protection against drops.
Another option from Spigen, the Spigen Tough Armor Case offers rugged protection with a dual-layer structure that protects your phone while keeping the overall build surprisingly slim. The MIL-SPEC rated case has Air Cushion technology corners for drop protection and there's even a handy kickstand built in for hands-free viewing.
